  • Better than Advertised!!

"We only live about 6 miles away from Annapolis, but we wanted to "get away" for a long weekend to enjoy being tourists in our own beautiful little town. This is a FANTASTIC place to stay in Downtown Annapolis. Conveniently located (very short walking distance to EVERYTHING, yet 1 block removed from the major commercial avenues to provide some peace and quiet), and beautifully maintained. As locals, we obviously know the area extremely well, so for all of you "out-of-towners" looking for some unbiased local guidance - here it is - STAY HERE!! If I'm not mistaken, this unit contains the only "bell tower" in Annapolis. So cool! The view of the state house is excellent, and the speakers from the main stereo system are wired right up to the quirkiest and most charming little "hang out lounge" you will find in the area. Vic is a true professional when it comes to maintaining the property. He is responsive (he only lives a few miles away) and very appreciative and considerate of his guests. I rent A LOT through VRBO (and I also provide rentals as a landlord), so when I write a review, I'm compelled to accurately portray properties. It can certainly be stressful "not knowing" exactly what you are getting yourself into on VRBO. Let me reassure anyone who is reading this that if all you need is a 2BR unit, save yourself some time, stop searching immediately, and pull the trigger on this place!! It has everything you need (completely updated with all of the modern amenities you'd expect), perfectly located, and truly unique. We will be back for sure!! Thanks for being such a wonderful host, Vic. It was a pleasure meeting you!!"

  • Perfect spot for a family reunion

"We rented this cottage over Labor Day weekend as a gathering spot for family living as near as Baltimore and as far as England. The house and the location met and exceeded our expectations. Not only was it conveniently located (Baltimore, Annapolis, BWI), and comfortable, but it had so many things to keep people of all ages entertained. Our group kayaked, crabbed, lounged, hung out in the hot tub, took walks, played board games around the sizable picnic table on the screened porch, played ping pong and fooseball in the basement, cracked crabs (again around that big table), grilled, and just had fun being together taking in the awesome views. We were so busy enjoying the activities and the creek that I am happy to say no one turned on the TV. The basement, with a variety of sofas was the perfect place for the kids to all sleep together. The owners were very responsive to all our needs and went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. Obviously, they love the house and the location on Dividing Creek as witnessed by the care that they put into this treasure. We hope to return soon."

  • Perfect group home!

"We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Annapolis this weekend. Christine was accommodating and had the house in perfect condition upon our arrival. It was super clean and had the perfect amount of sitting space for dinners on the deck and playing cards in the Livingroom. We were 10 people looking to enjoy my birthday weekend. The pool and the hot tub as well as the grill were perfect. It would have been great to have more than one lounge chair poolside but the upright chairs were great. She even left us coolers on the deck. The fridge was cleared so we had plenty of room for cooking all weekend. And we were only 1 mile from downtown! We had a ton of fun. I would highly, highly recommend."

  • Great family friendly place to stay while in Annapolis

"We stayed here the weekend of September 10, 2016 for my 20th Reunion weekend. We had 5 adults and 3 kids, ages 6, 3 and 2. My Academy roommate and I rented the house with our families and found it the perfect place for our visit. House: The kitchen was well stocked, making it easy for my roommate to cook us and two other families with kids dinner one night. The kids loved playing in the basement. The kitchen was perfect for entertaining. My roommate's husband loved the grill. Unfortunately it was 96 degrees that weekend so we didn't enjoy the deck out back as much as we would have had it been cooler. Bedrooms and bathrooms: plenty for our families. The first floor couches were also comfortable, for those who have a snoring husband.... There were two sets of washer and dryers. We used both, having little kids it was very convenient. Parking: Both families drove and there was plenty of room on the parking pad and in the cul-de-sac. Location: Easy walk to downtown Annapolis and USNA. It took less than 20 minutes, if the weather hadn't been so hot it would have been a shorter walk. Also close to some cute places to eat in Eastport. Easy to drive the back way to the stadium, so you don't have to deal with the downtown Annapolis traffic. The owner is great and accessible. Lots of information provided at the house. The house was easy to access with a code for the door. Nice if you have mulitple people so you don't have to wait for someone with keys. We had a very enjoyable stay. Nice place to relax after a hot day walking around Annapolis, the Yard and after the football game."
