  • Perfect!

"I selfishly hesitate to post a good review here because I want to be able to come back here again and again , but I feel once the secret gets out, that will be impossible. However, the gentleman who rents and owns the place couldn't have been more cooperative and accommodating, so I feel I owe it to him. As I write this, I am sitting drinking my coffee and staring out the window of this beautiful place at a peaceful, pristine lake. My boat is docked at the private dock and it allows me to leave it in and have it at my disposal 24/7. The house itself is a beautiful contemporary that had to be the talk of the lake when first built. The house is generally a rental , and the owners have it set up perfectly. It's clean, spacious, and has all the comforts of home including the fastest wifi I've ever seen. We are minutes to the beach, and the beach pass works perfectly. We are also minutes from modern civilization. Although, with a place like this, leave civilization behind for a week 😀."

  • Amazing lake home in a special nook of the Cape!

"My husband, dog, and I have stayed in this home for a week every summer for the last 3 years. I grew up on Cape Cod and wanted a place to stay while visiting my family and enjoying a vacation. Before I even get to the house, I can tell you as a (former) local, this location is a hidden gem. Centerville is central to most anywhere you would like to get on the greater Cape, including to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard ferries, as well as to the Hyannis airport (hello direct to NYC Jet Blue flights!). The house comes with a coveted beach pass and is a 5 minute drive from my very favorite secret, pass-requiring beach on Cape Cod, so you have the best of both worlds: a house directly on the lake, plus bike or drive-able beach access. This is a boon for people with dogs or children, or who just want a more quiet, less sandy experience than a beach home can provide. On to the house: the owners do everything to make you feel at home and enjoy your stay. The house is clean with plenty of bathroom and beach towels, sheets, tables, chairs, dishes and silverware. There are 4 bedrooms varying in size and the master bedroom has lovely lake views from bed. The porch is jaw-dropping gorgeous. The photos here do not lie. The sun sets over the lake, making for some magnificent nights, and the porch is huge, directly over the lake and with ample seating. The lake water is lovely for swimming, paddle boarding, or kayaking (some of this will require a rental on your part, not hard to come by on the cape). Because the house is located in a protected cove, not only is this area of the lake quieter than others, you are spared motor boats and jet skis blazing by at high speed. The house itself has plenty of room for one family or two small families to enjoy between the outdoor space, large living/dinning room, separate eat-in kitchen, and separate sunken TV room. There is also a huge outside shower, in addition to the 1.5 bathrooms within the house. I cannot say enough nice things about this house and the owners and we hope to come back for many years to come."

  • Comfortable, clean, convenient, quiet

"I stayed at this property Saturday - Tuesday of Labor Day weekend. I was looking for a place that would provide me the amenities of home at a reasonable price - and did this place do that. The place was beautiful, clean and conveniently located near everything I wanted to do. There were two of us with two other family members joining us for one night. We had more than enough space. And although I didn't get to use the canoe or outdoor fire pit, I was so glad to have them. The only reason I didn't use them was because it rained. Mark and Natasha were great. Mark provided a brief tour of the facility upon my arrival and I was most great fun that they accommodated my arrival time. I'm a big person on cleanliness and comfort. After this experience, I'll no longer stay at an hotel. This place was great. I recommend it for anyone looking for the clean comforts of home. The property is large which provides great space for families who stay. Thank you Natasha and Mark, I look forward to booking with you again soon."

  • Peaceful family retreat!

"Our family had wonderful and relaxing time here. The location and home were secluded and so peaceful. The short walk down the private road and path revealed an incredible stretch of beach and breathtaking sunsets every night. The kids (8 and 10) enjoyed walking down the beach to the jetty and quiet pool with fish and crabs, and swimming in the “lazy river” beyond the jetty when the tide was coming in or out. The house was well stocked for a comfortable stay and Nancy and Bruce had everything well documented and were easy to contact with questions we had leading up to the trip. We’d definitely return!"
