  • Great Family Vacation!

"We had such a great time here and the location is perfect! We brought 4 children, 2 grandmothers and a dog, and I can't say enough for the accommodations. The bedrooms were very spacious and the Cape Cod decor was perfect. There were many conveniences in the kitchen as well as in the basement (beach chairs, umbrella, kids beach toys, beach cart, etc). The neighborhood was also a plus...very quiet and great for riding bikes or jogging. (First Encounter beach can be accessed via backroads so you don't have to pull out onto Rte 6 East, which can be challenging.) The yard was very large and greatly appreciated by all, especially the dog. We had a couple friends over for a lobster/steak night and we had everything we needed. Christine was very helpful and accomodating. She called when we checked in to make sure everything was ok. We would definitely rent there again...thanks Christine! (Both grandmothers were very impressed as well, and the kids made us promise to book again next year!)"

  • Great spot for artists or writers!

"This home nestles the waterfront allowing the peace and beauty of nature into each room. It is located on Town Cove, a quiet inlet that leads out to Nauset Marsh and eventually, the Atlantic. What I remember most about my time spent here are the quiet mornings. The light on the cove is mesmerizing and changes constantly. Another favorite time of day is dusk with its sweeping sunsets. A pair of swans is frequently seen out front along with blue herons and other water birds. It is a great spot for paddle boarding or canoeing. The house has a huge master bedroom that looks out over the water, as do all the bedrooms. If you are a writer or artist, this is a place that will inspire you. There is a sense of privacy in this home with all its different living spaces; two screened-in porches, the patio, kitchen nook, living room, and even the yard. A short drive east will bring you to a few of my favorite places including Cape Cod National Seashore, Nauset Light and Fort Hill. Orleans with its restaurants, shops and theatres is a quick drive to the west. Not only have I spent time at this lovely home, but I will soon be one of the owners! I look forward to having you stay in our home."

  • Great house for a relaxing cape weekend

"Loved our time here, so close to the bike trail and down town Orleans via the trail. Right down the street biking distance away was a small beach, which seems to be residents only but you can drop off the group and bike down. quite and homey. we would love to rent again."
