  • Wonderful, tidy cottage close to the bay

"This cottage perfectly met our needs for a stay in the last full week of August. The location is unbeatable, as it is a five minute walk to the bay side beach. (As an aside, Thumpertown is probably not my favorite of all the bay beaches, it gets the job done. When the tide is out, there is much to explore. Definitely check the tide schedule, though, because there is virtually no beach when the tide is high.) It's a short drive to the commercial retail and restaurants that line Route 6, including the delicious Hole In One Donuts and our favorite for lobster rolls, Arnold's. Eastham has so much to offer for pretty much any outdoor interest - kayaking, biking, running, hiking. Wiley Park is close and worth checking out, as is Nickerson State Park. Of course the National Seashore is a great spot to visit. Don't miss the Salt Pond Visitor Center, which is free and has trails and lots of great information. The cottage itself is small, but works great for a family of four. The nice thing is that the square footage is all reserved for the dining and living areas, so it makes it feel bigger than it is. The screened in porch also functions as a third bedroom, so if you have kids who don't do well with sharing, this is a good option. Best yet is the outdoor space, including a Bocce court that wowed, new patio furniture, a large gas grill, a hammock, and outdoor games. In addition, there is a washing machine and clothes line. The kitchen has plenty of pots, pans, and utensils for cooking, with a full-size stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker with filters, and toaster oven. There is salt and pepper, but be prepared to bring any other seasonings or cooking essentials, including sugar for your coffee. You can pick up most essentials at the Eastham Superette just a couple of miles away. Overall, I highly recommend and would definitely stay again."

  • Very clean, spacious and well maintained house.

"We had a great time at the Seas-the-Day house. Very convenient location right off of Route 6, but on a quiet cul-de-sac. Super close to the beaches. Immaculately clean and well maintained. Air conditioning was amazing - even the upstairs rooms were nice and cool. Kitchen has all the amenities. We had a small problem with the kitchen sprayer that was fixed very promptly. We would definitely recommend this house and would stay again."

  • Fall Getaway !

"Perfect comfortable Eastham home, with an excellent location for any Cape Cod activity. We enjoyed fantastic October weather and utilized the kayaks; stand up paddle boards and a paddle boat on the property which has direct access to Great Pond in Eastham. Just a short bike ride to the Cape Cod Rail Trail. Sunrises and sunsets @ Nauset Beach and First Encounter Beach on Cape Code Bay. Many hiking trails (short & long) are very accessible from this location. The National Seashore and whale watching @ Race Point near Provincetown were also highlights of our stay. This home is also great if you just want to relax on the deck and enjoy the view. Laura very accommodating, and gracious. Really attentive to be sure her guests are comfortable and answers questions quickly. I have already recommended 610 Samoset to co-workers and friends. I would also love to return someday."

  • Meticulous home; incredibly thoughtful owners

"We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this meticulously cared for home. The home is inviting and bright. We loved sitting on the deck and enjoying gorgeous sunsets. There are multiple spaces for families to gather - or for kids to spread out and have their own space after a long day at the beach. We were grateful for the outdoor shower and also enjoyed making smores around the fire pit. During the one day of rain, we took advantages of the assortment of games in the house along with the large, flat screen TV. Carol and Andrew are incredibly thoughtful and gracious. They reached out in advance of our stay and proactively offered resources and suggestions for things to do, places to go and restaurants to try. They checked in on us during our stay. I have no doubt that if we had needed anything they would have responded quickly and helpfully."
