  • Centrally located and quintessential Cape Cod charm

"I've been vacationing on the Cape for over 20 years, and this cottage was by far one of the best places I've stayed! I was initially drawn to this Eastham cottage for its central location (we like going to Provincetown for beach days and dinners) and also for being dog-friendly! Shmeagle the Boston Terrier loved the screened in porch, laying by the Adirondack chairs, and being able to chase the frisbee every night at First Encounter Beach. I have to admit I was a bit nervous renting a cottage without being sure of the size, knowing that many beach cottages on the Cape are pretty tiny, but I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious this felt, not to mention the ample storage space. And its location is pretty remote and set back from the other properties and the road leading to Fort Hill (a truly spectacular area, but filled with ticks - beware!). Very clean, comfortable, and truly relaxing environment. Michael was also very responsive and accommodating to all of my many questions throughout the rental process. We would definitely stay again!"

  • great House in a Great Location

"We have stayed at various places on the Cape however this rental was the cleanest and most ideally located for getting around the Cape that we have stayed in. Our Fall vacation to the Cape was delayed 3 days as Hurricane Matthew forced us to evacuate our Florida home and we arrived after dark and immediately needed Denise’s help in learning how to use the individual thermostats. I called her on my cell phone and she responded immediately and before you know it we had a warm and toasty house. Her welcome bag of goodies was a surprise and it helped us settle in. The house was well stocked with the basics-paper towels and toilet paper and all of the kitchen gadgets that you need are there for your use. Our only recommendation is replacing the TV with a larger screen."

  • Wonderful experience!

"The house is off the road and tough to find for the first time you pull in, but in a great location on a wooded lot. The house is very comfortable and the owner made sure most every ammenity has been provided. We cooked with top of the line pots and pans, the pantry had spices and the set-up was open and conducive to conversing with the family as we cooked. The bathrooms are top notch. I felt like we were at the Eastham Hilton. The house stays cool, but each level has air conditioning and it sets the temp just right. About the only thing that I could not locate was grill utensils and had to use the plastic ones in the kitchen. We used the grill almost daily, enjoyed nightly fires in the fire pit and used the kayak's a few times as well. This was our last time in the Cape before moving to Dallas and it was a memorable experience. We hope to come back again in the future. David is an outstanding host and overtime I sent him a message through the Someway app, he responded within minutes! Trust me, this is one of the nicest places on the Cape and it's only 5 minutes from Coast Guard beach. Thanks David for making this a special vacation for me and my family."

  • Our new favorite place to stay on the Cape

"My husband and I honeymooned on the Cape and have been going back every year for our anniversary - 19 years now. This cottage was by far the best place we've stayed. It is very clean and decorated perfectly. It felt so warm and comfortable and we were able to relax and enjoy the calming view of the lake. I love to cook and was very happy to find everything I needed in the kitchen. My husband loved to get up early and go fishing off the dock, catching bass and pickerel. It rained all weekend so we weren't able to take advantage of all of the outdoor amenities but are looking forward to enjoying them on our next stay which will hopefully be sooner than next year!"
