  • Immaculate Like New Home!

"We spent a week at this property over the fourth of July and felt at home from the moment we arrived. The owners were available for our few questions and have done a great job making this a family friendly spot. We were pleasantly surprised by the private path that allowed us to have only a 5 minute walk to a quiet spot on the bay between two public beaches. Looking forward to making this an annual tradition."

  • Charming and quirky

"Rented this house for a long weekend for a family of 8. The house is for sale and sort of tired (old carpet upstairs, nails popping out of worn deck in the back,) but was fine for a weekend get-a-away. There was a significant ant problem in the kitchen (coming out of the walls) and management seems to be unaware of it though someone had placed traps... If you're serious about cooking, you may want to bring your own knives. All that said, it was a fine place for a chill vacation."

  • Great Rental for the Price ($110/night with no additional fees like most other rentals).

"If you are looking for refined accomodations with modern appliances and the latest household decor... THIS IS NOT THE RENTAL FOR YOU!! However, if you are looking for a small, clean bungalow with basic working kitchen appliances and comfortable beds, and you plan to spend most of your time outside, you simply cannot beat the value of this rental. The owner was accessible and responsive. The cove and dock were beautiful and I wish we had more time to enjoy them. As this rental was in early October, I do not know if the cabin has adequate a/c and/or heat. The wifi worked well, however the cable could have featured a few more vital channels (espn & Nickelodeon are virtual necessities when you have kids). The lighting in one of the bedrooms was inadequate (only one of the two small lamps worked). Unlike other reviewers we had no problem driving off and on the property."

  • True Cape Cod

"Selecting a rental from photos causes me pause: is what I see what I'll get? In this case? Absolutely! The open floor plan and unfussy appointments made settling in immediately comfortable. A well-stocked kitchen (as the rest of the house) was intuitively easy to use. Since we had friends coming-and-going a bathroom on each floor really was a plus. I wondered about sharing the common-doored bath between the two upstairs bedrooms but for this Medicare eligible group, it was no bother. Three of the bedrooms were pleasantly sized. The first floor space with the twin pull-out was compact. But our two-night guest found it cozy, used the provided shelving as a closet and demurred at the ensuite bathroom. The basement bedroom was indeed, in the basement, however there was no mustiness and like the rest of the house--immaculate! With that said...the Salt Marsh view. It compels. It's there for the taking. With the changing light it reveals the stunning natural wonder of what makes the Cape such a special part of the world. And last, but so not least: our host Anne. She was fabulous. Responsive, helpful and accurate. As we had lived in Eastham for decades, it is with certainty I say the description on their VRBO site and the detailed booklet Anne provided about the house and its environs are spot-on. Bravo Anne!"
