  • A Gem of Michigan's Treasures.

"It was a pleasant surprise to find a well maintained stand of rustic cabins left in Michigan - seems they are going extinct. Bryan and Laura are great hosts and you'll find the cabins full of charm, everything you need - nothing you don't."

  • Very comfortable, roomy, well supplied lake front cottage

"My 3 generational family of 6 spent a week in this comfortable lakeside cottage. It's old and outdated and wonderfully roomy. The sandy clean beach is a delight, the water clear and inviting, and the lake views incredible. The cottage was well supplied and the new owners were welcoming and helpful. There were comfortable places to sit and eat everywhere, inside and out, the grounds well maintained. This is a perfect place for a larger family. Also, this cottage is a part of a larger group of several cottages in a small space, and would be a great place for a large family gathering, reunion kind of thing, where you could rent several of the cottages together. It might not be the best place if you want quiet and privacy. There's a lot going on around you. One criticism: the beds were old and uncomfortable, except for the king size bed in the master bedroom."

  • Peaceful and Pleasant

"This comfortable cottage has a park like setting with plenty of room for children to run and play and for the adults to sit and relax. It is a very quiet, peaceful area where you can leave the front door open and enjoy the evening breeze and morning sunshine. The lake and town are just literally a few minutes from the cottage with a great park nearby. The bedrooms are a nice size with plenty of room to spread out! Great value and great price!"

  • Spacious and quiet

"Beautiful house with fabulous views of Lake Huron. Well-kept path leads to the water's edge. Dave was responsive to messages/questions, and everything was as described. It was quiet while we were there, but I imagine in the peak season there are more people around."
