  • Tastefully decorated cottage on the beach!

"Absolutely beautiful little 2 bedroom cottage! Super clean! Fantastic view! All the amenities of home, this place has everything you need. We have been enjoying the Port Austin area for around 45 years, and this trip was no exception. Even without air conditioning, we were able to stay fairly cool because of all the windows and two floor fans. The only thing we would add are blinds on the master bedroom. We were unable to have any privacy because there were no blinds on the master bedroom windows, which look out onto the patio. Just like another review we read, the neighbors are quite close, but they packed up and left on Sunday night."

  • Lake Huron on Display in Full Glory

"Cottage is quaint but certainly had enough space for 3 generations on a weekend. If the weather had been warmer, we may never have seen each other as the deck is in full sun, plenty of manicured lawn space, comfy sugar sand and clear, shallow water and a sun porch with hand made furniture. Kitchen is well-stocked. The water is a well system so be prepared for the sulphur smell. We would love to come back and spend a few days again as Marissa was a pleasure to speak and deal with."

  • Wonderful views and comfortable ambiance

"Spent a quiet, extended weekend with my wife. From the moment we entered we knew that we had made the right decision in selecting this property. The home is large and very comfortable and the views are just fabulous. Everything was spotless and the owners were very accommodating. Anything that a family might reasonable expect can be found there, including, including dishes, glassware, cooking utensils, etc. The Keurig was a pleasant, but welcomed surprise as were unexpected amenities like actual wine glasses. We were unable to spend much time outside as the "winds of November" were blowing, but the beach looks very nice and the sand looks soft and inviting. And, the deck would be an incredible place to spend time with more moderate weather. Easy to understand why this home is very popular with renters."

  • A little piece of heaven

"Staying at the Blue Sky Resort was all my husband and I hoped it would be and more. We had a very bad experience last summer with a rental in Oscoda, so we were a little leery. The moment we pulled on to the property and met Brian all our doubts went away. He personally took us to our cabin and reassured us that if we needed anything, just let him know. The cabin was exactly as it was stated to be, small, cozy and with a view of the lake that was breathtaking. The beach was kept up and fire pits cleaned out daily by Brian. The other cabins looked equally as nice. We would highly recommend this place to all we know."
