  • Family Friendly Vacation!

"We had a great family reunion vacation here! Thank you. The owners were great to work with and the area is second to none. The location was nice and serene, at the top of the mountain. I can only imagine how great this would be in the winter with ski in/out privileges. The air hockey and pool table provided hours of fun and competition for the cousins as well. The owners provided everything we needed. Thank you!"

  • Excellent family vacation destination

"My entire family enjoyed a wonderful week at Camp Cruddy. The property is a perfect place for a great vacation. The house was immaculate and well stocked with cleaning and paper products. The rooms were well appointed with comfortable beds, a great kitchen full of dishes, pots, pans, silverware...everything you would need to cook, just bring the food! The beach was lovely and private, with a fire pit for nightly campfires! The decks had plenty of chairs and a table to enjoy outdoor dining. Our grandchildren loved playing on the beach, searching for 'petosky' stones and swimming in the pristine water! The two paddleboards provided by the owners were a huge hit with everyone! Camp Cruddy exceeded all of our expectations. It is simply a perfect place to relax. The nearby town of Elk Rapids had some nice restaurants and a beautiful public beach and playground. There are so many wonderful places to visit nearby if you want to get a true taste of northern Michigan. The owners were responsive and helpful from start to finish. For a little piece of 'heaven' do not hesitate to visit Camp Cruddy. We loved our week there and hope to visit again!"

  • Returned for 4th year in a row - and loved it!

"This is our 4th year vacationing at this home, and we loved it! It's truly comfort: the kitchen is stocked with every need, the linen is quality, and the house is roomy. Our extended family range in ages from 5 years old to 76 years old; 17 people in all. The outdoor space offers hours of fun for all ages (swimming, beach toys, loungers, kayak, row boat, fish tackle, life jackets, hammack, and fire pit). And the views are AMAZING. It's worth getting up at 5:30 AM just to see the sun rise over the lake! The home owners have created a perfect space to relax, enjoy each other's company, and create new memories."

  • Great for relaxing or exploring

"We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet, relaxing setting and beautiful view at this condo. It is very spacious, light, and open. The beds were especially comfortable, the kitchen is well appointed, and the view of the sunsets from the balcony was magnificent. The bathrooms were well stocked with towels, soaps, and supplies. Art's, Cherry Republic, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and walks on the beach are favorite things to do in Glen Arbor. We enjoyed kayaking on the Crystal River and bike riding to Empire. The shops and restaurants in Fishtown in Leland were also a highlight. The property manager was very helpful and accommodating during the reservation and check-in process. They let us know the rental was ready and we were able to check in a little early. I would definitely rent this again and will work with the property manager again. Looking forward to doing it again!"
