  • Great House on Lake Michigan

"We have been renting a place on Lake Michigan for 21 years and the last five straight have been at Duneswater. The house is clean and can comfortably accommodate 8 adults and all their stuff. It is remote enough to be out of the mainstream of travelers in the area but not too remote. The big attraction is Lake Michigan. Nearby Onekama is a sleepy little non touristy village with a couple of decent places to eat and a grocery store. Onekama also has Portage Lake which is connected to Lake Michigan so you have an inland lake connected to the big lake. The Heathlands, which is a decent "up North" golf course, is also in Onekama. Arcadia Bluffs, which is an outstanding golf course, is 12 miles away. I usually don't write reviews, but the Owner has been easy to work with and we love staying at the place."

  • relaxing autumn weekend by the lake

"Our second time staying in this home. What a great location within easy walking distance to downtown Onekama (and, luckily we got there just for the last day of the season for Papa J's ice cream). The drive up M22 was beautiful at this time of the year and the hikes through the dunes were so relaxing. Honeycrisp apples by the bushel available everywhere at this time of year. And, at the end of the day, returning to the spacious and comfortable home makes for a very enjoyable experience."

  • Location, location, location

"Thank you Kim for providing such a great condo to relax for a week. Everything was top notch. We couldn't ask for a better view of Betsie Bay , and harbor. The location made it ideal for all dining , and Lake Michigan sunsets. We'll be sure to come back! Kathryn and Eric"
