  • Fantastic Lake Michigan Vacation!

"My husband and I, along with my sister, brother in law, and niece, stayed in this lovely home for a week. It's extremely clean and fully stocked with everything you might need. It is very spacious and perfect for families. We normally don't cook while on vacation however with this place we found ourselves cooking every meal with the exception of only one (Chuck Wagon Pizza in Ludington). The hosts came down and introduced themselves shortly after our arrival and offered their assistance if we needed anything while we were there. The location is perfect. It's a 2 minute drive to the beach at Meinert Park. Also it's a short drive to Silver Lake, Pentwater and Ludington. We also went tubing down the Muskegon river in Newago. I would absolutely stay here again well worth every penny! We loved everything about this place!!!"

  • This cottage was amazing, just what we hoped for.

"The cottage and grounds were meticulously maintained. The views out to the lake were beautiful and so peaceful. Many times these cottages have what is obviously second hand furniture. That was not the case in this beautiful 3BR cottage. The owners were so helpful with information and wanted to make sure everything in the cottage was conducive to an enjoyable stay. We brought our kayaks and started the day on the lake. Such a wonderful way to start the day. All that and only minutes to Michigan for beautiful sunsets on the beach."

  • Get away from the real world to a beautiful, relaxing locale

"Stayed here for a week with our four-month old and parents and sister/husband and couldn't have been more happy with the house! The view was just breath-taking at times out the huge windows. You could see Silver Lake, the dunes, and Lake Michigan a couple miles (maybe even less?) away which was perfect because it was away from the hustle and bustle you have when you stay in a tourist town. But you were still minutes away from the dunes which made it very convenient. There was a walk-in closet off the master suite that we used to put up the provided pack-and-play and it made for a great baby room. The rest of the house was perfect for our group (seven). There was plenty of room and we never felt like we were crowded. A couple words of caution - the road up to the cabin is a sand drive-way that if you are driving a low sports car...it probably won't work too well, but any other vehicle, take it slow and and it's no problem! Also, there are alot of stairs to climb in the house, especially if you are staying on the master floor (four flights total). It's built on a hill so that is to be expected and I was happy to get the extra steps, but if you have trouble with stairs, this might not be the place for you. Overall - we could not have been more happy with our stay. It really was a splendid getaway!"
