  • Wonderful, Spacious Home on a Quiet Lake

"We had a great family week at this lake home. The pictures don't do it enough justice. It is a very nice home and had plenty of pace to easily sleep our family of 10 (seven adults, three kids), and could have fit a few more without a problem. The yard is quite large, including a fire pit down by the lake, with firewood provided. The lake is fairly small and quiet, which I view as a plus, yet plenty large enough for tubing and water skiing. The fishing was great as well for bass and good size sunfish. Swimming was OK but not great off the dock, but there is a nice shallow sandy-bottom area to go to across the lake by the inlet from the other lake. We also like to jump off the boat in the middle of the lake, and the lake is plenty deep for that. We brought our own boat (note: the inlet into the lake is shallow but passable), but there is a pontoon for rent. David was excellent to work with, very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. We have rented several different lake homes in this area in recent years, and this was our favorite."

  • Lovely home on great lake

"This is a lovely home near Crosslake. We loved the beach and really enjoyed our time there. There are steps, but I never found them to be a burden going down to the lake. The fire-ring is perfectly set-up and the house amenities are top rate. There is no basement, this was the only point i found odd."

  • Labor Day Weekend Get-away

"We had a beautiful Labor Day weekend stay at this wonderful vacation home. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Reasonably priced for a family gathering with children. There is a huge yard to set up bean bags, horseshoes or whatever and beautiful lawn to set up tents and a camper or two. The area is very spacious and the neighbors are quite far away so you do not feel like you need to be quiet as to not disturb them, even though they seemed quite friendly with a wave as they drove by. Unfortunately, it was very windy so we were unable to use our boat, but the kids enjoyed fishing off the dock. Also just a couple miles down the road, on the calmer side of the lake, there is a city campground with public access for the boat and also a public beach which was much calmer. Overall it was a very nice stay and will do again if it works out for us. We did have one concern though which I addressed to the Owner and they appreciated the feedback and said it was on the agenda for repair. Nice to hear."

  • More than we could have asked for!

"This was our first vacation in many many years and it was AMAZING. The cabin had so much to do! We fished, swam, played outside and played tons of board games in addition to movies. The homeowner even helped us book a pontoon rental. The lake was incredibly peaceful and quiet. The property is beautiful and the cabin is big enough for our larger family. Two things I still can't wrap my head around: the cabin was immaculately clean (wow!) and how was there not one mosquito in a full weeks stay?! Would absolutely recommend."
