  • When you need to get away

"We had a great time on Seagull Lake! The cabin is cute and cozy and very comfortable for our family. The area is beautiful! We mostly canoed around the lake and had luck catching bass, pike, and even found a secret walleye spot not far from the cabin. We also canoed down to the west part of the lake and portaged to Paulson Lake-a VERY rough (but beautiful) portage and worth the work to get there! Everything was better than described and we couldn't have chosen a better place for our vacation. Thank you!"

  • Tall Ships Adventure

"From the moment we walked in the door Until we cast a final backward glance We knew it was a home of distinction Perfect in every way. The Island Greenhouse sings her siren song Beckons us to sit on the porch, sip a little Prosecco Far away from the crowds and confusion of the harbor Relax, refresh, recharge, friends making happy memories. It’s that kind of house Perfect in every way."

  • Beautiful place on Lake Burntside. We loved it.

"Close to remote wilderness, easy to get to town of needed provided you have a boat. WONDERFUL!!!! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The people in Ely were very friendly. My son and I spent 3 days here during the beginning of September. The cabin is clean and well appointed. The place is remote enough that, for the most part, we were alone. Very seldom saw another boat. The loons sang their haunting song. We heard wolves howl from the northwest side of the lake. Their calls were answered from the west. Awsome. If you were inclined to do so, you could land the boat on the lakeshore and venture to where the wild things are. We saw 2 eagles while out fishing one afternoon. Caught pike and smallmouth. We got lucky with the weather and saw the brilliant milky way after the moon had set. Sometimes, the only sound to be heard was your own breathing. When the wind was blowing it made a wonderful low roar. It was nice to have the boathouse. It made for easy preparation for fishing excursions. We loved the place. Very nice."
