  • Fantastic!!!

"What a gorgeous, fabulously located cabin perched atop the cliff's edge with expansive views of Lake Superior right out the back windows, to include the master bedroom. We loved the convenient heat provided by the geothermal heat system and the kind of cozy, romantic, warming fire that can only be provided by a wood stove. The kitchen was stocked with all the home appliances, dishes and pans one would need. Hiking trails can be found EVERYWHERE within five minutes of the cabin. Groomed cross country ski trails are within a 10 minute drive from the cabin. Clearly, we loved our stay at the Palisade Cabin along Superior's North Shore."

  • Our favorite place on the trail!

"This was our third stay at Scott and Anna's cottage and our best trip by far. Visiting the trail and staying at the cottage is something we look forward to every year. For the past couple of years, we've taken the Crab Lake trail and canoed Loon Lake, but this year we switched things up and rented a boat on Gunflint Lake (only $20/hr and so worth it) and took the boat to the Bridal Falls hike. The falls aren't flowing as well in the fall but it was still a fun little hike. The best part of this trip was finding the High Cliffs trail behind the Gunflint lodge. The views are worth the uphill hike, and we got engaged at the top of the cliffs this year! We celebrated with great company at the Hungry Jack Lodge (our new favorite spot to eat and drink on the trail) and even caught a glimpse of the Northern Lights. Thanks, as always, Scott and Anna for providing such a wonderful getaway. This is one year we won't forget!"

  • Relaxing Cabin on a Beautiful Lake!

"I spent the weekend at the Sugar Lake cabin with a group of friends over the 4th of July weekend. We had an awesome time! The lake was absolutely beautiful and we loved floating around in the shallow, clear water. The cabin is right on the lake and has a great yard for games, camp fires, etc...We even had a great view of the fire work display at the resort across the lake. It is so quiet and peaceful there and we loved seeing and hearing all the loons. The neighbors were friendly too! The cabin was spacious and fully stocked with everything we needed. Barb was very responsive and quick to answer all my questions prior to our stay. I would love to come back and stay at Sugar Lake again in the future."

  • A Great Week at Diamond Cove

"My family and I just returned from a week at Diamond Cove. We would go back. The cabin was clean and everything was in working order. We met the owners upon our arrival and they were very welcoming. I spent the week fishing for muskies and was able to land three in that time (many more follows and a couple of lost opportunities). The cabin is nicely located and one can be casting for muskies in short order. It is also nice and close to Moosebirds (ice cream run) and The Landing (burgers). The boathouse was perfect as it kept things nice and dry. Thanks for a great week."
