  • The best combination of Northwoods beauty and relaxation imaginable.

"Beautiful space made even more special with the realization the owners of this Band B built this place with their own hands and hard labor. The home is amazing with touches that are unique and artistic and the location is perfect for those of us who love the outdoors, water and woods. Katherine was very flexible in providing a great massage to my wife, and the hot tub and sauna were quite a treat for me. Overall a great weekend. very clean and well maintained. I highly recommend my lake home to all who love the North woods."

  • Wonderful Property

"This slice of heaven made for a great vacation. The cabin combines a lot of space, great cabin decor, a modern kitchen, and an enormous deck that overlooks the lake. There is also a lot of space outside of the cabin. Whether you're fishing, boating, enjoying a campfire around the welcoming fire pit, capturing one of the best sunsets you'll ever see, or admiring the Minnesota night sky, there is also plenty to do. So much is provided - towels, bedding, dishes, games, firewood, etc. - that it really felt like home. The restaurant, bar, bait store, and country store (all just a few miles down the road) really add to the charm. If you're looking to get away to the northwoods for a while but not too far, this is your place."

  • Very Nice secluded lake home.

"This is a beautiful lake home. We had a great time fishing, with being able to connect to so many lakes. Troy and Joy were very nice to work with. And the managers Gary and Judy were very nice. We would just text Gary if we had fish remains, and he would come and dispose of them. This worked out very well for us. I would hope to be able to stay again!"

  • Great place to stay in Bemidji with lots on MN nice

"The folks at the property have a nice little place to stay that was a perfect home base for spending a few days taking in the nearby MN state parks in and around the Bemidji area. The bunkhouse was clean, cozy and comfortable for our 4 person family and very affordable. We met one of the owners on our arrival. She gave us the full rundown on the property, things to do, places to see and made us feel welcome and right at home. The bunkhouse is simple and basic. You have a small TV with cable, a small refrigerator, microwave, stove, washer/dryer access. We were only there for breakfast meals and the 4 of us were fine eating picnic style. You're not going find a thousand cable channels and there is no wifi but that's not why your staying in the north woods. Others before us report a water smell, we noticed it as well but it did not bother us at all and is to be expected from well water. If you like to bike ride, boat, fish, golf, hike everything is just minutes away from the bunkhouse. Bemidji state park and the Paul Bunyan bicycle trail are 10 minutes away. Be sure to take in the 20min Bog Walk trail in the park if you enjoy the outdoors. Itasca State Park is about an hour away and a must see park. Plan to be there all day. We booked less than a week in advance, taking a last minute vacation. We submitted our request and received a prompt confirmation and friendly response and messages in less than 24h. We would go back to the bunkhouse and would recommend it to anyone looking for nice place to stay. Thanks for a great stay"
