  • Cozy and Comfortable Cottage!!

"We really enjoyed staying at the Sea Turtle this vacation! We had more than enough space for our family of 4 and really appreciated being able to bring our dog along as well. It was clean and the decor made you feel right at home as soon as you stepped through the door. We loved all of the antique furniture, the decorative 'beach' touches throughout, and the piano which we had fun playing every day. It was stocked with everything we needed for our week. The area was great. We spent many days on the beach in Gulfport and Long Beach. We drove to the beach every day, though it would not have been a bad walk at all. It was hot and we had a lot of stuff to take and with plenty of parking it didn't make sense to lug it all when we could just drive and park where we wanted. The best beach was Ship Island. The ferry ride was fun, the beach was beautiful, and the water was clearer than the other beaches we were on. We searched for shells and it was fun to watch the blue crabs scurry away as you walked up to them as we had never seen anything like that before. Would recommend just renting the umbrellas and chairs they have there as it's a little walk to the beach from the pier where you're let off. Tony's Brick Oven Pizzeria was excellent downtown and we appreciated the gift certificate Beth left for us when we got there. That was very thoughtful and was a nice treat after a long drive to get there! We also ate at Steve's Marina Restaurant one night (really good and sat outside on the balcony) and Shaggy's (sat on the balcony-fun, but we weren't as crazy about the food here..) We visited the Gulfport outlet mall one day and Beauvoir (Jefferson Davis' home) and the Katrina Memorial; both in Biloxi. New Orleans was a little over an hour away so that made for a fun and enjoyable day trip. I have always wanted to go there and it did not disappoint; food, music, shopping, and people. All in all, this trip was fantastic and there were so many different things to do and see. And lastly, if you go, get up early and do not miss the sunrises' at Gulfport Harbor. They are beautiful and what a way to start the day........ No regrets! We would stay here again if we ever get back to the area. Thanks for creating such a relaxing and comfy space, Beth!"

  • Comfort and Convenience

"What a pretty and well-appointed condo! It was spacious, beautifully decorated and very comfortable in every way! Everything we needed was in place! The location was also convenient and centrally located to everything we wanted while in Gulfport. While only my husband and I were on this trip, we easily could have accommodated our whole family!"

  • Relaxing Escape

"What a lovely time we had! The front porch was so relaxing with that gentle ocean breeze keeping us cool even though it was August in Mississippi! The accommodations were clean and comfortable, and we found the owners to be prompt, friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going back. :)"

  • Wonderful location and condo!

"Everything about this place was fantastic! The room was clean, the beach, pool, and restaurants were never crowded, and the weather was great! There was also a few parks close by where we could let the kids play and ride bikes. The whole experience was wonderful!"
