  • Fantastic Summer Getaway

"We had a short summer vacation planned with 4 couples, 2 teenage boys and a dog. This house was very spacious and beautiful! We loved the porches and the short walk to the beach and local restaurants. The owner was very accommodating and helpful to us as we he had never been in the Gulfport area before. He suggested popular outings in the surrounding area. We will be back to this beautiful home!"

  • Beautiful setting! Perfect vacation house on the bayou . Great for getting away !

"The property was great with all the necessities. The owners even put in Wi-Fi at our request! This was much appreciated as we have an elderly father who doesn't get around much and enjoyed his vacation with his laptop! The kitchen had everything we needed and was very clean! The family room and bedrooms were comfortable. The boats were fun to use on the water, and it was very enjoyable sitting out on the deck looking out onto the beautiful bayou. There were a couple of things in need repair, but it looks as though that is in the process! The only difficulty we had at all during our stay was in the mornings. My husband and I stayed in the front bedroom. The blinds are in disrepair, and the sun came in the windows right on our faces at about 6:45 AM which made it impossible to sleep. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much… And would come again! --Mandy"

  • Very clean and well decorated

"We enjoyed our four nights stay on our early September visit at your deluxe and super clean condominium. The view from the balcony was fantastic with plenty of space. We would definitely stay here again during our return visit to the Gulfport area. Thanks for sharing your home with us. The Quicks West Virginia"

  • Cozy and Comfortable Cottage!!

"We really enjoyed staying at the Sea Turtle this vacation! We had more than enough space for our family of 4 and really appreciated being able to bring our dog along as well. It was clean and the decor made you feel right at home as soon as you stepped through the door. We loved all of the antique furniture, the decorative 'beach' touches throughout, and the piano which we had fun playing every day. It was stocked with everything we needed for our week. The area was great. We spent many days on the beach in Gulfport and Long Beach. We drove to the beach every day, though it would not have been a bad walk at all. It was hot and we had a lot of stuff to take and with plenty of parking it didn't make sense to lug it all when we could just drive and park where we wanted. The best beach was Ship Island. The ferry ride was fun, the beach was beautiful, and the water was clearer than the other beaches we were on. We searched for shells and it was fun to watch the blue crabs scurry away as you walked up to them as we had never seen anything like that before. Would recommend just renting the umbrellas and chairs they have there as it's a little walk to the beach from the pier where you're let off. Tony's Brick Oven Pizzeria was excellent downtown and we appreciated the gift certificate Beth left for us when we got there. That was very thoughtful and was a nice treat after a long drive to get there! We also ate at Steve's Marina Restaurant one night (really good and sat outside on the balcony) and Shaggy's (sat on the balcony-fun, but we weren't as crazy about the food here..) We visited the Gulfport outlet mall one day and Beauvoir (Jefferson Davis' home) and the Katrina Memorial; both in Biloxi. New Orleans was a little over an hour away so that made for a fun and enjoyable day trip. I have always wanted to go there and it did not disappoint; food, music, shopping, and people. All in all, this trip was fantastic and there were so many different things to do and see. And lastly, if you go, get up early and do not miss the sunrises' at Gulfport Harbor. They are beautiful and what a way to start the day........ No regrets! We would stay here again if we ever get back to the area. Thanks for creating such a relaxing and comfy space, Beth!"
