  • Great place to stay!

"What a wonderful vacation spot. Just down the road from the historic Isaak Walton hotel, this VRBO rental was perfect for our needs. Beautiful location, very comfortable, and well stocked. It's close to the East or West entrance to the park. Tod and Pat are wonderful hosts and were very responsive to our needs and provided lots of information about the area. I would definitely recommend the rental and plan to return."

  • Wonderful base for exploring Glacier NP

"The home was very clean, comfortable and as described. I agree totally with all the positive comments made by previous guests. We wanted a kitchen to cook several of our meals, and it had practically everything we needed. The location was convenient, with grocery stores nearby. It was a great place to relax after long hiking days, and a welcome bonus was the home-baked goodies that awaited us. I have no hesitation in recommending this home to others who need a "home" close to Glacier NP."

  • Very clean and felt like home

"The cottage was the cleanest house we've ever stayed in that we found on VRBO. We used the cottage as our home base for all the hiking we did in Glacier/Waterton. We hiked 55 miles in 6 days and the cottage was the perfect place to come back to every night and relax. It was very private and cozy! We cooked every night and it had everything we needed. We even used the grill one night and it was perfect. The road from the cottage to the St. Mary's area of the park was about 45 minutes. On the drive is where we saw most of our wild life. So be careful! We saw moose, coyote, dear and a bobcat. I would say the drive to the park was about the only downside to the cottage. Oh and a jacuzzi would be nice after all that hiking. If you are looking for a place to stay near Glacier stay here! Marty and was wonderful! Check out was easy. Thank you Coleen for sharing your beautiful home!!"

  • Best place for larger groups!

"My family and I stayed here for our parents 30th wedding anniversary. There were 8 adults total. The place was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. We cooked 90% of our meals here. Chuck and Vicki stopped by our first morning and showed us how to use the bear spray for when we were out on the trails in Glacier National Park. They also had great suggestions for what trails to hike. The house was cozy and the sauna really came in handy for when we were out hiking in 35 degree weather for 4 hours. The house is charming and has a lot of cool informational books and fun artwork/decorative items hanging on the walls- not to mention phenomenal views of the mountains in the bedrooms! There was also a washer and dryer so we didn't have to pack an overwhelming amount of stuff for our week there! I wouldn't reccomend anywhere else if you are visiting this area. Thank you Chuck and Vicki for providing such a warm and comforting place for my family and I to celebrate our parents' anniversary!!!"
