  • Beautiful cabin providing privacy with all the necessities a family needs.

"When we arrived, we were very happy with the cabin and the location. It's very private but close to hwy 2, which is the road we travelled to most of our destinations. We knew that there was no Wi-Fi or television channels and had been looking forward to experiencing time without them. Each day we had a planned activity away from the cabin (zip lining, rafting, west glacier) and would come back and spend the evenings sitting outside talking, taking walks to the river or sitting inside watching movies or reading books. We have college aged children that came with and we all had a wonderful time. The first morning we saw the female moose - which was really awesome to see. The inside of the cabin is very cute, it had everything our family needed. Would definitely recommend it."

  • Lovely Home

"I think in East Glacier, this beautiful home is probably as good as it gets! It was spacious, clean, nicely decorated, and a perfect place to relax after a long day on the hiking trails. After stays in Bozeman, Butte, and Whitefish, my husband and I felt like we got the best sleep of the trip here. Marty, the property manager, is a great guy as well. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend this home."

  • Transcendent Location, Impeccable Craftsmanship

"We checked out of the Two Medicine studio this morning and are already planning a return trip. Glacier NP is famous for its stunning alpine scenery, and these accommodations are worthy of the setting. Lone Elk Lodge is beautifully situated in a meadow with mountain views; our studio had a little deck facing toward the mountains and away from the road, with no highway noise. The building itself is immaculate: well designed and furnished, impeccably maintained (we didn't see a cobweb or a speck of dirt), and thoughtfully appointed. Two Medicine studio is quite roomy and had everything we needed, including a well-stocked full kitchen, a comfy bed (with great nightstands and reading lights--important to me!) and a little electric fireplace. As hosts, Leslie and Carl struck just the right balance. Attentive but not intrusive, they offered tips on hikes and restaurants and even left a plate of homemade scones to welcome us. Lone Elk Lodge was the perfect home base for an exceptional adventure."

  • Very clean and felt like home

"The cottage was the cleanest house we've ever stayed in that we found on VRBO. We used the cottage as our home base for all the hiking we did in Glacier/Waterton. We hiked 55 miles in 6 days and the cottage was the perfect place to come back to every night and relax. It was very private and cozy! We cooked every night and it had everything we needed. We even used the grill one night and it was perfect. The road from the cottage to the St. Mary's area of the park was about 45 minutes. On the drive is where we saw most of our wild life. So be careful! We saw moose, coyote, dear and a bobcat. I would say the drive to the park was about the only downside to the cottage. Oh and a jacuzzi would be nice after all that hiking. If you are looking for a place to stay near Glacier stay here! Marty and was wonderful! Check out was easy. Thank you Coleen for sharing your beautiful home!!"
