"Just returned from a magical two weeks at Bert's lovely and extremely well equipped lakefront house in Bigfork. This location is incredibly convenient to everything one wants to experience in Glacier country( 40 min. from Glacier National Park, 20 min. from Kalispel, 30 min. from Polson, 45 min from Whitefish and about 40 min from the FBO at Glacier Jet Center ). The town of Bigfork is a 5 minute walk from the house and everything you need (food store, restaurants, shopping, trail rides, hiking the local trails(especially the Wild Mile in Bigfork along the Swan river) etc. is very convenient). Bert was incredibly responsive throughout the booking process and with respect to a few small problems we encountered when we arrived. The lake is magnificent and the house is perfectly positioned for the nightly sunset display. We used all three bedrooms and found the house very comfortable for all of us and our two Bouviers. We have rented throughout the West and we highly recommend this property and this owner."

"My husband and I, along with another couple, spent a fabulous weekend at this Golf Terrace rental in Bigfork! We had a fun filled long weekend that included two trips to Glacier National Park to hike and site see. And a day trip to Whitefish Mountain Resort to enjoy the best zip lining ever! This home is in a great location for day traveling! Deer are EVERYWHERE! We took several walks through the neighborhood golf course and down to the marina. We spent evenings barbecuing and enjoying the scenery. I like to cook and found the kitchen fit my needs. Our favorite spot in this home is in front of the large beautiful stone fireplace! We did have a fabulous dinner downtown at the Bigfork Inn and enjoyed a few Huckleberry Mules!! We couldn't get to everything on our "to do " list but will be returning to fish in Flathead Lake!!"

  • Awesome break from reality!!

"I'm a local to the area, but living in an apartment with growing grandgirls has become TOO much for the space I have. Spending Thanksgiving at Jane's Place was the perfect solution to overcrowding and small space! My family spent most of the day in the living room/kitchen area. My adult kids could not remember a time when we had all been able to sit at a table and eat "family" style. The views were wonderful, the beach area is inviting and usable, the home....comfortable. Cozy. Interesting. Intriguing. Surprising. Family friendly with a giant bed and tons of pillows in the living room! Kitchen and pantry are well stocked; all pots and pans are new-ish and of good quality. Abundant towels, toiletries, and the laundry facilities are very handy. Hot tub was hot, clean and easily accessible. The bed in the master suite is to die for. The sheets, the comforter...so so cozy. Early rising is not easy at Jane's Place! Teresa left us with Lindt chocolates, cookies, breakfast bars and a bottle of champagne! I would definitely recommend staying here for a weekend, or a month!!"

"Our week in August celebrating our 60th wedding anniversary with our family members was just awesome; beautiful lake home with outstanding décor, art work, etc. and of course such a comfortable warm atmosphere. We have such treasured memories and a memorable time. We were so fortunate to have found such a great place for the occasion and highly recommended it to those planning to visit the Flathead area"
