  • Heaven On Earth

"This is our second summer vacationing at the Chalet and we will definitely be back. Linda and Wayne are the most wonderful hosts, and you could not ask for a more serene and beautiful place to stay. The Chalet is well appointed and has a wonderful view of the lake and the natural setting of the home. You'll be surrounded by the sounds of nature. We saw deer, bald eagles, ospreys and humming birds during our stay. We also loved sitting by the lake and taking a plunge in the clear water. There are many beautiful hikes within a short drive and Glacier National Park is not too far as well. There are great restaurants in Lakeside and Big Fork, but you'll want to spend most of your time at the lake--it is so relaxing you really won't want to leave. We didn't!"

  • Love the location!!

"This was a very nice home. There is a wall of windows facing the lake. All the kids loved the loft and it has a private balcony. It was stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, everything we needed except food:) We cooked almost every meal there (thank you Costco) and found everything we needed. On the deck, there is a covered area that worked great for shade and one evening when it was raining. The deck is big and has two jet ski lifts and a boat lift and even has lights if you need them in the evening. The wood was replenished while we were there by the house manager. He had actually built the house and several of the docks around us including ours. He visited with us about the area and houses he had built around us, super nice guy. The neighbors on both sides were friendly and we enjoyed visiting with them. The yard was big and green and well maintained. The orchard had apples and cherries and was a great spot for taking pictures. The washer and dryer was new and I think a bigger size, super handy. The house was located in a beautiful, scenic area. While we were there, we went to a brewery in Lakeside that had great food and as an added bonus kids were free that day (Monday). We also rented a pontoon and drove it around Wild Horse Island, we saw a lot of wildlife but no horses:( It would be a great place to hike but with the little ones we couldn't."

  • This spectacular home helped make our family vacation a stunning success!

"This home is a beautiful place to stay while visiting Flathead Lake! The 3 generations of our family who stayed here found it fun, peaceful and thoroughly equipped... The home allowed us to have the privacy we needed, and the dock, fire pit area was a great gathering place for everyone. It exceeded our expectations! Thank you....."
