  • Great Cabin/House!!!

"We stayed at this cabin for it's proximity to Yellowstone National Park, which takes about 35 minutes to get to from the cabin to the West Yellowstone Entrance. This cabin had ALL of the comforts of home with a high level of craftsmanship in the building and finishes- granite countertops, cabinets and woodwork. It felt more like a house than a cabin. It was well stocked with garbage bags, soap, tin foil, spices, etc...the little things that you don't seem to remember to pack:) The kitchen was fully stocked with the cooking essentials- the only thing that I missed having was a crock pot:) We didn't miss not having a tv/cable as wifi was available and very good- had no uses with 5 people using their devices. The view was wonderful, and it is not as secluded as the pictures show, there are smaller cabins across the river and three other cabins on your side of the river. There is a nice fire pit by the river and plenty of wood was included- bring the wiener sticks for smores. The river is very close to the cabin and the only "open" area for kids is there, as the cabin is on the side of the mountains. We were at Yellowstone for almost all of the day, so having a huge play space for kids was not a huge issue for us as they were all pretty tired by the time we got back around 7:00 every night. There was 6 of us and everyone had enough space to spread out. The loft was perfect for the kids, and was separate from the main bedroom downstairs. The washer and dryer was a plus, and it cut back on the amount of clothes we had to pack, so bring some HE laundry soap. Family vacations are expensive, so we really, really appreciated the very reasonable rate with a do-able reservation deposit, and there aren't any extra fees like many of the other listings we looked at- like cleaning fees, huge damage deposits- the small insurance option was perfect! We felt like the owners were inviting us to stay and enjoy their cabin! It was easy to book and all questions we had were answered in a very timely manner. I highly recommend this cabin to a family on a budget looking for a high-end cabin - we totally enjoyed our stay here:)"

  • Immaculately clean, well appointed and centrally located condo with beautiful view

"My husband, two teenage children and myself spent six nights in this fantastic Big Sky condo in August as we combined vacation with college hunting. My first impressions after getting settled was how immaculately clean it was and how gorgeous the views were! We found the size and layout to be just right for the four of us, we were comfortably able to congregate in the central living area while also having plenty of space when we needed time apart from one another. All of the amenities were as described; I was particularly glad to see the high quality blow-dryer with multiple heat settings :) The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of towels etc available. The beds were very comfortable and the frames were gorgeous! The sofa bed wasn't as comfortable, but it still worked fine for my son. The owner, Lissa, was extremely helpful and accommodating. When she found out we'd be spending time in Butte, Bozeman and Yellowstone, she sent tons of fantastic recommendations and ideas for things to do. She did the same for the town of Big Sky, from restaurants and coffee shops to what hiking trails we should be sure not to miss. The condo is located in very close proximity to Big Sky, we never drove down; we were able to easily walk into town. At Lissa's recommendation we visited the Farmer's market and also the free outdoor concert in town as well. So much fun! We weren't able to enjoy the fireplace (it was too warm outside) or the hot tub, maybe next time. We all agreed that we made the right choice to stay in Lissa's condo and we would gladly do so again!"

  • Very impressed with the location, view, and the cabin itself. It was beautiful and fully furnished.

"The cabin was very accommodating. The first night we had a total of 8 people sleeping there and it worked out great. After that it was only 5 and each party had their own nice bedroom. The cabin was fully furnished and everything we needed was available. All the appliances worked well which was a huge plus. I would definitely recommend it to anyone and would certainly stay there again. The location was great. Close to Big Sky Resort, the Gallatin River, and Yellowstone Park. Also very easy access to a nice grocery store and several nice restaurants. Also close to horse back riding, fly fishing, golf etc."
