"My husband and I met my two brothers and their wives for our annual get-together. We enjoyed a four night stay over the July 4th holiday and it was wonderful! Although we did take a couple of short day trips, we spent most of our time at the cabin enjoying the beautiful river. We had the pleasure of befriending a family of American Dippers (ouzels) who were nesting above the patio. Watching the babies leave the nest and the parents teaching them to navigate the rocks along the river - and diving/swimming in the water! - was amazing. The sound of the water rushing over the rocks was hypnotic and truly brought about a peacefulness that's hard to find in our everyday lives. The cabin itself was nicely decorated, very well stocked (cooking items, linens, bathroom items, etc.), and was spotless upon our arrival. I'm sorry I didn't get to meet Carmen, but she was so easy to work with both before and after our trip. We found everything exactly as promised with no issues of any kind."

  • Great place for one or more families

"I would give this 10 stars if I could - the only downside to this place is that you can never stay long enough...it's relaxing, beautiful and quiet. The configuration is perfect for one or two families, or a group of friends. Lloyd made us feel welcome the entire time and yet never intruded on us during our stay. Great access to Gallatin National Forest and the highway that heads to Yellowstone. We will stay again."

  • Little Big Sky - Cabin near Big Sky

"Very nicely equipped log cabin that easily accommodates 8 or 9 (mix of adults and kids). Easy drive to Big Sky (even in winter) and Town Center. Kids enjoyed exploring by the on property river after skiing all day. Fireplace and hot tub were used and enjoyed. Cabin had all that we needed (and is nicely done). Great location. Happy to recommend this cabin."

"This cabin surpassed our expectations on every level. The log cabin is absolutely stunning, so well furnished and views from every angle. The main living area is so comfortable and homey with an open floor plan and large fireplace. The screened in deck is perfect for lounging mosquito and bug free. We enjoyed cocktail hour on the front porch while watching the sunset and got a kick out of the romping squirrels. Woke up one morning to an elk bugle and found a herd of 8 with 2 babies in the front yard, so amazing. The acreage provides privacy and endless mountain and forest views. Proximity to Big Sky Resort and Yellowstone was very convenient and there are hiking trails everywhere, I highly recommend the hike to Lava Lake, it's gorgeous."
