  • The NO Winter, Winter.

"No skiing at Mt. Sunapee :( But that didn't stop us from having a GREAT Family gathering. We played family games, put together a HUGE puzzle, cooked and ate Lots of good food. The grandchildren enjoyed the outside swing set and the fire pit for cooking marshmallows. We also hiked the Fells, just a stone- throw away, two days in a row. We hope to be back next year. Wonderful location and HOME!! Wally(our grand dog) loved it too!"

  • Cozy stay at the cottage

"My husband and I stayed at the cottage over Veteran's Day Weekend with our dog and had the most pleasant stay. We were looking for weekend getaway and this was the perfect place to relax and have some quiet time. During our stay we hiked Mt. Sunapee, a 30 minute drive, and took walks down to Crescent Lake that is less than 5 minutes down the hill. It was great to have a well supplied kitchen to cook dinner in as the closest restaurant was a 15 minute drive and we didn't want to leave our dog alone. We would love to come back and visit during the warmer weather as we would love to kayak and swim in the lake and probably our dog as well. Thanks for the gift basket and being great hosts!"

  • beautiful area

"The apartment was well furniture with everything you needed to be comfortable or make a meal. There was a barbeque available to use on your back porch. The view from both the front and back porch was lovely. In the front was the Conn. River and a small vineyard. There were chairs by the river so you could sit and enjoy the view. The back porch gave you a view of the trees in the distance that were bright with the fall colors and the yard with trees and bushes. Our hostess was very welcoming providing us with beautiful flowers and a welcoming basket. We enjoyed our stay."

  • A little piece of paradise

"We spent a week here with our two children, their partners, and 2 children ages 8 & 10, and could not have been happier. We will definitely be coming back. The house is comfortable and spacious, and has a very well equipped kitchen. It has a time worn charm, but with all modern conveniences including two large full baths. There are more than enough towels, pillows, linens, dishes, life jackets, etc. This is not a luxurious place by any means, but it is casual, comfy, and located on the best lake in state. The kids had a blast swimming in the backyard, especially with the Spanish Island (aka The Donut). Highly recommended."
