  • Awesome experience!

"This was our first time at this property and the lake. It was such a gorgeous location! The cottage was in a great condition, and the owner was very quick and prompt with her responses. We woke up to the beautiful views each morning. The kayaks and paddle boat was so much fun. We also enjoyed the camp fire in the evening by the lake. There is a walmart, Market Basket and dollar store like 10 mins away in case you forget something. The owner was nice enough to leave some supplies in case we needed it. She also had a folder of all activities that we could do nearby which was really helpful. I will definitely go back here next year for a longer stay. Totally recommend it!"

  • Great Lake House!

"My husband and I stayed for a few days while visiting our son at Cushing. Was very convenient to school, there within 10 minutes. The lake was frozen, but the house has skates if you want to skate. The owners made sure the driveway was plowed when it snowed. The house is very comfortable, warm, extremely clean and has everything you need in kitchem. We always have trouble with cell service when in the area, but the wifi worked great and my husband was able to work in the mornings. Could not ask for anything else."

  • Family Fun! New Family Tradition

"First of All Katey & BJ were very accommodating. We requested a Friday to Friday rental and she got back to us right away. The property was more than perfect for our 3 families of 6 adults and 3 children (9,10,11) and visiting toddlers and Grand Parents. We put the kid's up in the loft, which was a great choice. They went from kick ball in the yard, to taking turns peddling the paddle boat, to pushing each other off the swim platform then lounging in the loft playing board games. Loved it! The 3 bedrooms on the first level were more than enough. Nice large closets and beautiful dressers to actually unpack and hide our luggage. Felt like home. We didn't organize anything but what to make for dinner and who is going kayaking with who. Honestly we did not even go to town for a dinner outing. Loved being at the lake. The kitchen set up was perfect for our family of rotating chef's for each night. My brother in law wanted to take the huge grill home with him. It was perfect! We ended each evening with a fire in the fire pit. Watching the kids last swim for the night and the sunset. Thank you Katey and BJ for the perfect setting for our family. Can't wait to see you again next year!"

  • Weekend in the Country!

"Gorgeous property and the perfect getaway from the city! This charming house is a perfect stay for every season; be it during the beautiful New England foliage season or when Spring makes its first entrance with flowers blooming all around you. If you're looking for a weekend in the country, this is the place to be. Lots of great trails, and plenty of fun restaurants and craft stores in Peterborough, just a short ride away."
