  • Great Family Weekend Getaway

"Our family (mom, dad & 2 teenage boys) stayed at Lou's unit for a long summer weekend. We've been to Grand Cascades four previous times and return every year because we love it so much. We've always booked directly through GC but their prices were ridiculously high for the weekend we planned to visit. I found Lou's unit on VRBO for quite a bit less. Booking with Lou was very easy and he was very responsive to my numerous questions. Check in was easy and the room was identical to what we have stayed in before. My boys love the golf options available at Crystal Springs as well as the foot (soccer) golf. We all love playing on the 18 hole championship miniature golf course during the day and at night with the glow in the dark balls! The pools are beautiful and there is plenty to keep my teenage boys busy....fishing, pool, ping pong, swimming, golfing, hiking, etc. We ate at Springs Garden and were not very impressed with the menu or food in general. We do make use of the kitchen in the room for breakfast and lunch and like to venture to nearby Warwick for dinner. Lou's unit is on the 5th floor, nice and quiet, with beautiful views of the biosphere, pool, golf course and sunsets. Highly recommend it!"

  • Family weekend

"We spent a long weekend at Grand Cascades in Bob and Yangs condo/suite. The condo is just as advertised. There were 4 adults and one 15 month old in our party and the condo was IDEAL. It's an end unit with a gorgeous porch that has views on three sides. It was warm so we did not get to take advantage of the outdoor gas fireplace. The condo has everything you'll need for making breakfast or lunch. Grand Cascades is an amazing property. We were there such a short time we only had a chance to take advantage of a few things. The biosphere pool is amazing. I believe its a salt water pool. The only complaint is with the Crystal Springs Tavern. It's ridiculously over priced and some of the wait staff were less than attentive. Our Sunday morning breakfast took 30 minutes to get, 3 of the 4 orders were over cooked, server was polite, but not welcoming, and it was the most expensive omelette (16.00), yogurt, and poached eggs I have ever seen. Thee are two very good restaurants within 10 minutes of the property. They are Irish Cottage and Celine's Bistro. They are both casual, and reasonably priced. The Irish Cottage had good food with a friendly staff. Celine's had amazing food and possibly the most friendly and attentive wait staff we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. If you go to Grand Cascades, go to Celine's. We had a great time and hope to stay at Bob and Yangs place again. They are easy to work with and have a great place at The Grand Cascades Lodge."

  • Overnight for Spartan Beast

"My family and I needed a place to stay after the Spartan beast. Location is perfect, room was large and fits up to 8, great view, good restaurants nearby. Would definitely visit again."
