  • Clean, cozy, perfect location!

"My husband, two dogs, and I stayed here for forty-two nights and loved being able to walk to nearby museums, restaurants, galleries, and the wonderful plaza. We used the kiva fireplace often, the décor and furniture are warm and welcoming, when a few repairs on appliances were needed, the staff was excellent and prompt in getting them fixed. Everyone involved was so helpful and gave us great suggestions which all made for a truly fantastic visit to Santa Fe and we would highly recommend this casita to anyone with or without dogs! Excellent! We already miss Santa Fe and this casita! Carol and Peter"

  • Just Wonderful!!!

"This is the third time my wife and I have rented the Rock Cottage within the last four years. Each stay has been memorable. Nancy and Bud are terrific hosts who take great pride in making sure all of your questions are answered and your needs met. The cottage is perfect for a couple - everything you need is there and more. Organ is a ghost town, so the location is pleasantly "out of the ordinary", but it is also so convenient to the many beautiful sites which the area offers such as the Organ Mountains National Monument, White Sands National Monument, ghost towns, nature trails, and museums (especially the Zuhl Museum on the NMSU campus which is just incredible and a must see). Carlsbad Caverns, Santa Fe, Tucson (AZ), and Silver City are within a days drive and all are worth a visit. Another must is the Farmer's Market which is held every Wed and Sat on the Main Street of Las Cruces. About 8 blocks of downtown are blocked off from traffic and almost everything imaginable is there from foods and produce to arts and crafts to music and dog walking. It really is a happening and just a lot of fun. There is so much to do here you will never be bored, but if you enjoy just relaxing and watching the beautiful birds (or the peacocks that Nancy and Bud tend to in their back yard) or watching the daily magnificent sunsets, this is a great spot. Nancy and Bud have treated us like family for which we are so appreciative. Bottom line - it is perfect for us by every measure!"

  • The perfect escape

"This is an amazing property. It has been beautifully renovated, no detail has been missed. The interior decor and furnishings are gorgeous and of the highest quality. There are many beautiful areas both in and out-doors to relax. There is a large pool with an adjacent outdoor kitchen and dining table. The surroundings are beautiful, serene, spacious, and peaceful. Easy access for a bike ride or a hike along the Rio Grande/Bosque trail. The chickens on the property lay fresh eggs for your enjoyment every morning. This is a great spot for a girls trip, a small family gathering, or a romantic getaway. There is plenty to do on the property and Albuquerque and Santa Fe are a short trip away (30-60 minutes). There are several good restaurants, and a sprouts grocery store close by in Corrales. I highly recommend this property and would gladly return in the future."
