  • Great location, Small kitchen

"Condo F-1 is located front and center on Main Street, with two large balconies and two spacious bedrooms. The nightlife is further down the street and is not a problem after dark. The living room has plenty of seating around a TV with DVD, and although we visited in the summer, the fireplace is nicely situated. Located in the Lifts West building, there is a large common area with a fireplace which is perfect for relaxing outside of the condo after a long day of winter activities. Only concern is the kitchen. More than a little small, but adequately stocked. Might be a problem for a group that plans on cooking a lot overa longer stay. Overall very clean, and well-cared for. The owner was very responsive and takes care of his own reservations. Perfect for a 2-3 day getaway for 2-3 adults. We love Red River and will be back for ski season."

  • Lovely setting, big views, well-crafted dwelling and helpful owner

"What more could we ask for? We were so pleased to be in the Arroyo Seco area for a week of summer mountain hiking and exploring the Taos area. The casita was perfect for our needs. Walking distance to cafe and groceries. Comfortable, well-crafted and well cared for property. Peaceful in all respects. The Taos Cow cafe deserves the kudos as other reviewers have noted. We hope to be back."

  • A small place on Palace Avenue

"We have stayed here several years. It is spacious, immaculate, beautifully decorated with paintings by well-known Southwest artists, with comfortable beds, central air, and room-darkening drapes in the bedrooms. In August it was cool, quiet, and safe enough to sleep with the bedroom windows open at night. The bathrooms are recently remodeled with rain showers and heated floors. The washer and dryer are new.' The kitchen is well-supplied with cooking utensils; we ate breakfast, and frequently lunch and dinner at the house. The dining room seats six comfortably; the house is surrounded by gardens and there are tables in both the front and rear garden. There is private off-street parking. All of this only two blocks from the plaza, one block from the river park, and two blocks from Canyon Road with its dozens of galleries. On the opposite side of the block is a pick up spot for the opera shuttle and the Agoyo Lounge, which is quiet and had excellent dinners and light fare. Whole Foods is about 10 minutes away by car. There are probably twenty or thirty good restaurants within a 15-20 minute walk. There is a cheesemonger on Marcy Street and a wine store two blocks away on Palace. Caroline has always been extremely helpful and accommodating. Anything that goes wrong has been fixed immediately (although the Wifi is mysteriously temperamental – if it is an essential, make sure the proper incantation has been made it get it to cooperate)."

  • LABOR DAY WEEKEND 2016

"This weekend could not have been more perfect. Made so even more by the wonderful surroundings and hospitality of this place. The cabin was beautiful and very well maintained. Weather was gorgeous and the kids loved every second. From waking up in the morning to the deer and turkeys in the drive, to the beautiful sunsets and cool evenings on the deck by the fire. Shopping ziplining at Inn of the Mtn Gods, the history lessons at Fort Stanton, and the cool nights grilling on deck!.....It was an experience we will all cherish. Thanks so much for opening up your fabulous home to us. We will definitely pass the word on to friends and would love to come back and visit again. Cheers!! -Velasquez Family Amarillo, TX"
