  • Gorgeous and peaceful setting!

"The house is very comfortable and well-furnished. The decks are a big plus: the one in front has an awning and is great for morning coffee. Another deck is on the side, shaded for happy hour! The setting is a beautiful, wooded canyon, with several other fine homes scattered on both sides. Very private and peaceful but only a 20 minute walk or quick drive to downtown."

  • Aqua Fria - July, 2016

"This is a wonderful location about 5 blocks from the Plaza and within reasonable walking distance of most of the downtown areas. The house is 100 years old and has some quaintness to it, but the kitchen and bathrooms have been redone and overall it is very comfortable. My son and I were out playing golf each day at some of the most scenic courses we've ever seen and the wives enjoyed shopping and hanging out in the backyard area. The weather for us was absolutely perfect ... about 60-65 in the early morning for golf and warming to about 85 in the afternoon with the occasional rain only in the evening on a couple of days. With virtually no humidity it was a very welcome relief from 100 degrees and 80% humidity in Dallas. The house is set up nicely with two bedrooms separated for privacy a nice dining area and a couple of living/reading areas. The systems in the house are easy to use. Although close to downtown, the location is in a very quiet neighborhood with the only real activity being folks walking by on their way to a couple of local restaurants. Very little traffic, another welcome relief from Dallas. Finally, dealing with Susan was a real pleasure and she made our stay very easy by providing some great info about activities, restaurants, museums, and golf (thanks Andy for the course suggestions). Overall a very nice getaway. We will be back to Santa Fe again."

  • A magnificent home!

"We have rented several wonderful VRBO homes and we were members of a destination club for four years so we have stayed in many beautiful properties. This is one of the finest and I would highly recomment it. Everything about the home is exceptional. We were a group of four women so we only rented the main house. We loved the fact that everyone had her own bedroom and bath and the kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. I wish my kitchen drawers looked like that! The management company, Casas de Santa Fe, does a great job of maintaining the property and preparing it for new guests. The furnishings and artwork were amazing and it made us feel like we were staying in someone's beautiful personal home. The outdoor patio areas were also exceptional and the home and the casita are on almost an acre of land. We love the Tesuque area and we chose this home partially because it was within walking distance of the Tesuque Village Market, a funky, unique wonderful place for breakfast, lunch, dinner, desserts, pastries and some great little gifts. The home is also close to the Tesuque Glassworks (a must as far as we're concerned) and the Shidoni Foundry. I have sung the praises of this home so much to our friends that I just home we will be able to get in when we return to Santa Fe!"

  • Wonderful!!!

"My husband, myself and three children rented this lovely condo for two weeks. The place was just like the pictures and everything was clean, comfortable and there was plenty of space for all of us. Dick was wonderful to work with and even allowed us to bring our small dog to spend our vacation with us. The pool was beautiful and we had several times when we had the pool to ourselves. It is in a safe, gated area and the condo is well stocked with the basic essentials which is a rare find when renting a place. I would absolutely stay here again when visiting the area and highly recommend checking out the cute shops, winery and la posta restaurant which are all within walking distance. Thank you Dick for a great stay!"
