  • Great casita, great location, friendly responsive owner

"The casita is perfectly located, 20 ft from Canyon road (and its 50? art galleries), and less than 10 miinutes walk to the old town square. Casita is a small, but newly remodeled adobe, with original artworks on the wall. Great place for a couple or a person traveling alone. Carlos is responsive and easy to work with and nice."

  • Love it!

"Casa Perla is the perfect combination of convenience and quiet. Situated 3 blocks east of the Plaza and 2 blocks north of Canyon Road, it is a short walk to restaurants, shops, and galleries. With a driveway right in front of the unit, parking is easy. Since it is located on a quiet street corner and has walls surrounding the patio, it is private and peaceful. At check-in, Caroline gave us a delicious gift basket of local foods and provided excellent restaurant recommendations (The Teahouse is fabulous). Her silent concierge book is so thorough, I think it should be published. The interior is upscale and comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped and the ideal size. The breakfast bar is large enough to use as a desk. The bed is very comfortable. The shower feels nice and the water quality is great (we noticed a positive change in our hair and skin). This was our third stay in Santa Fe. The first time we stayed in a villa; although it was quiet and spacious, it was a much longer walk to Canyon Road. The second time we stayed in a hotel just off the Plaza, but there was too much street noise from cars, motorcycles, and late-night partygoers. This time, we finally got it right. Casa Perla is perfect!"

  • Look No Further in Santa Fe!!

"Our whole fabulous experience with good friends at Casa Estrella is hard to describe. Take all the other reviews and amp them up! If you are an art lover or want to experience the heart and soul of Santa Fe, stay at Ed and Marilyn's enchanting home...it truly captures the essence of Santa Fe and New Mexico. Tastefully and creatively decorated, every amenity you would want, beautiful setting, extremely well-maintained, great location for walking everywhere and just 1-2 blocks from the Canyon Road area, . Ed went out of his way to give us excellent advice on food, where to look for art, sight seeing, etc. and was an absolute delight to work with. They want you to feel like a guest in their home, not just renting a house...and they achieved it beyond our high expectations. We always stay in BnBs or VRBO, amd this home is right at the top of our list."

  • COMFORT, CHARM AND HOSPITALITY

"Our hearts were won after parking and pausing at the blue gate, where we lingered before even passing through to the beautifully planted courtyard. The latter became our favorite spot for morning coffee and late afternoon reflections on the day. It didn't hurt that the season offered the blazing orange of pyrocanthus berries, the shimmering yellow of aspen leaves just turning, and the red of the Virginia Creeper twining here and there. Even the ornamental grasses were "in bloom," and hummingbirds regularly hovered at the porch feeder. Yes, we did spend time inside this lovely casa, where every comfort and convenience was provided for relaxing, cooking, and sleeping. The art work from Alexander Anthony's Adobe Gallery enhanced this rich interior environment. For planning our days, the collection of brochures and local magazines was richly supplemented by excellent tips and guidance from both Mr. Anthony and Todd. Inspired by the cool evenings to light our kiva, we were grateful when Todd provided kindling, paper, and fragrant pinon, as well as new lighters! Wondering where to eat, how to find the best spot for catching the shuttle, where the neighborhood coffee house is? Todd will lead you there! While this was the perfect location for venturing further into and out of the city, perhaps the greatest pleasure was that feeling of being IN a walkable neighborhood and the growing familiarity with Canyon Rd., Asequia Madre, and all the lovely cross streets! We are so grateful to our generous and charming hosts and do hope to visit again!"
