  • Spacious but managed to feel cozy all the time

"Bob and Judy clearly care about the comfort of their guests. The house was spacious and allowed room for all of us, but yet managed to feel warm and cozy. It was close enough to Church Street (10 minutes) to get there quickly yet far enough away so that we could be in a larger space without spending a fortune. Will definitely stay here again when I'm in Burlington."

  • Ringing in the New Year!

"The cabin was everything we had hoped for - we especially enjoyed the beautiful lake views. We had a bald eagle pay a visit and enjoyed watching it fly around. It was great to sit around the wood burning stove and watch a movie and see the snow fall outside. We even warmed up in the hot tub and walked through the snow with our barefeet! The neighboring towns were great to visit, Burlington, Stowe and Winooski all still decorated with holiday lights. We were very comfortable in the house and are already planning a visit next year. Thank you it was great!"

  • Scenic Getaway - Amazing TIme

"The property is very well kept, maintained and supplied. We had plenty of space and things to do for the two of us and our dog. We used everything the house had to offer: kayaks, porches, tennis court, yard chairs, the dock. The owners were friendly and clearly take pride in the property. They checked in with us to make sure we were having a good time and sent us hiking suggestions which we followed to Rattlesnake Mountain; you can see it from the dock. Open mic night at the bowling alley (WBC) was a great time and we actually bowled later in the week too (great music!). The ferry to Burlington, VT is only 30 minutes north in Port Kent. When you choose to stay here Ausable Brewing Company is a must. All in all, a beautiful lakefront cottage that only leaves you wanting a longer vacation."
