  • Perfect size and location

"The online pictures don't do this place justice. It was roomy and clean. I loved the convenience of not having to bring towels or bedding. The fenced in yard up top was great for the dog and the lower yard set up also made it easy to contain our furry family members. You'll have to bring all of your own food, including spices and condiments. We bought replacement paper towels, toilet paper and laundry soap and also left some cleaner and zip lock bags there. Other than these and any additional games (they already have some there), personal items, life jackets for adults, they have just about everything else you should need. The canoe and kayaks are a nice way to explore the lake, which is very large and low on traffic. One note regarding safety: there is a non obvious opening to the left of the gate to go down the stairs to the lake, which my dog found and fell partially down the could have just as easily happened to a small child. We put a cooler there to block it, after we discovered this. Luckily the pooch ended up ok. All in all, this is a fantastic property and I would definitely recommend it and stay here again."

"What a wonderful house. A nicely converted church that comfortably handled a big group. Close to Cornell campus. Would definitely recommend."

  • Cozy cottage with beautiful views of Cayuga Lake

"Twin Pines was absolutely perfect for our mid-September long weekend getaway. We had easy, clear communication with Ed and Dennis ahead of time, and Dennis was there to greet us and answer any of our questions when we arrived. The house was clean and in order, and well stocked with everything we needed for the weekend. The furniture was comfortable and the appliances were all pretty new, and overall the house was very charming and cozy. You can’t beat the location right on the lake – we really enjoyed mornings and evenings on the front porch and the deck. We also enjoyed being within a half hour’s drive of all the nearby places we wanted to visit: Ithaca, Trumansburg, Watkins Glen, and dozens of different wineries. It was also so nice that we were able to bring our dog along – he had a blast. We had a great time here and can’t wait to come back!"

  • Fantastic Ithaca College Graduation Weekend!

"Can't say enough about this wonderful property. The owners were always available to respond to any questions we had. The onsite caretakers were friendly and available to answer any questions we may have had during our stay The house and yard were in pristeen condition. The house was stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen had all the necessary appliances and cookware as well as dishes, glassware and cutlery. Ample linens were provided for all the guests. Although the weather did not permit us to utilize the pool, the paddleboat, walking trails and firepit were enjoyed by all. It was the perfect place to hold our family reunion as we celebrated our daughter's graduation from Ithaca College. This place is truly a 10 and we would definitely recommend it."
