  • Private Haven Close to Stockbridge and other Mass. Attractions

"Exactly as promised: very clean, well designed, bay windows facing the forest on all sides, neighboring houses at a great distance. Everything worked: kitchen, hot water, heat, fireplace. Elegant minimalist decor in living areas and bedrooms; nice furniture, chairs, couches, and beds. This is a very well cared for house and our family group was completely comfortable. It's different being on the edge of the state forest, as opposed to the houses in Lenox or Pittsfield and other towns, but if you like walking outdoors this must be great in the summer. Kurt was great to deal with, answered his phone quickly when we had one question about an appliance, and otherwise left us alone. We will look forward to coming back."

  • Spotless, well equipped, great location

"We spent the weekend in Pierce's spacious, super clean, well appointed rental. The rental has everything you could need including hairdryer, soap/shampoo and spices/condiments. We loved the location as it was close to everything including restaurants. The rental is beautifully decorated/furnished with super comfy bedding! We would definitely stay here again when in the area."

  • Fantastic

"The Copake lakehouse exceeded our expectations in every way. The cottage and guesthouse are beautiful and thoughtfully designed / decorated. The setting, tucked above the lake with multiple cozy spots to appreciate the sunset views, is unrivaled on the lake. The hosts, Natasha and Vincent, are very organized, helpful, and welcoming. We were there for a weekend with our one year old and another couple. The cottage / guesthouse set up made it ideal for a two family get away. Late October on the lake was gorgeous. We look forward to returning for a longer trip (there is so much to do!)."

  • Gem near Hudson

"Our group in total was seven adults for a weekend getaway in Hudson, and we couldn't have asked for a lovelier house. The property is huge with amazing 360 views--completely secluded. Everything was covered in fresh snow, which was delightful, but we could only imagine what the pool and grounds must look like in the spring and summer. The interior is immaculately clean and refreshingly well-decorated with light coming in from all directions. From top to bottom, the house is solid: good construction, beautiful floors, gorgeous big windows to reveal the view. The bedrooms are quite spacious, and none of us could get over how comfortable the beds were. The location was ideal: close to Hudson and the Berkshires, sight-seeing at the Wildenstein mansion, Hyde Park, Olana. The owner, Sara, was amazing from start to finish. She was always easy to reach for random questions and gave us tons of suggestions for places to shop and eat and see. This is the only house we'll be using when we visit Hudson again. It is a true Gem of upstate New York."
