  • Very nice home, great location

"My family of 5 stayed there during a chilly April but still has a great time. You can fish off the dock and there's a local place that will deliver and pick up kayaks. Grocery stores nearby and Woodstock is just a short drive. Other than the inability to block the intensely bright morning sun if you're sleeping on the pullout sofa, no complaints. Was well stocked, too."

  • Wonderful

"This is truly a special place, blissfully quiet. It’s not that far off the main road, and is a sanctuary for reading, listening to Nature’s subtle orchestra, and watching the sun rise over several mountains in the Catskills. It has a fully appointed kitchen with literally anything you might need. During the day, the house is flooded with lovely natural light. At night from the screened-in porch (during the summer), we watched the yard come alive with fireflies. Tranquil and magic, is the Full Moon Farm. We delighted in the local summer farm stands: tomatoes, berries, peaches, pies and cheeses. Do this. The owners are a pleasure to work with: gracious, fabulous, communicative, helpful and straightforward. We rented for a weekend family escape and we'd would love to come back. Thank you so much for helping us create a memorable family holiday."

  • Better than a resort!

"We stayed here rather than a resort because we didn't want to deal with tons of people. And it was wonderful! We, my husband and I, my brother's family, and my other brother and his wife, came for our niece's wedding. We are all from out of state. One of my sister-in-laws is a travel agent. And all she kept saying the whole time was, "OMG this is so high end!" She was commenting on the shampoo, the food in the fridge, the towels, the sheets, the mattresses, the vacuum, etc.." I just kept laughing because she didn't expect to find so many amenities in a VRBO. My husband is an amateur photographer and he spent his down time photographing all the yard art, mountain shots, sunsets, house decorations, and the patio collections. It is a very extensive and eclectic collection of art and antiques in the house and on the property. It rained most of the time we were there, but that did not stop my nephews, brothers, and my husband from using the pool. And my sister-in-laws really loved the hot tub. When the sun did come out, we hiked the neighborhood roads because we really liked the area and scenery. It was a wonderful hike uphill all the way to the end of the road. There was much laughter around the kitchen table and much ribbing between the Bros. We had a wonderful time at the wedding as well as the rehearsal dinner which were held 10 to 20 minutes away at commercial resorts. We even went to the Kaleidoscope Festival in Emerson that weekend. We shopped at Bread Alone for bread and the local IGA for a few items needed to make breakfast and lunch for the crew. The kitchen is extremely well appointed with equipment for the gourmet chef. My travel agent Sis-in-law was even more surprised to find a NutriBullet(900?) in the kitchen. One Sis-in-law made her gluten free, organic, vegan pancakes, and the other Sis-in-law made her organic, bee pollen, goji berry, sustainable permaculture smoothie. Sorry people, I just had good old bacon and eggs with Bread Alone toast. Oh, and I had some of the organic butter with the toast compliments of the fridge. It is such a peaceful neighborhood with birds singing woodland songs early in the morning. And the beds are so comfortable, everyone slept late. This home is so comfortable and clean, like visiting grandma's. A place that people live in, not just look at and it has everything. We loved our stay. And since my sister lives in the area, we will be back and stay here again. It really is better than a resort!"
