  • Well located, well appointed - everything you need.

"I really enjoyed staying in this apartment. It is very well located, with easy walking to two subway lines (an express stop on the IRT), and also the cross-town bus. The market 1/2 block away has everything you might want in the way of food - grind your own coffee, good fresh produce, cheese. The owners use this apartment themselves on occasion, so it has many features that strictly rental properties may not have -- a full kitchen with a beautiful gas stove, full refrigerator, laundry facilities. There is plenty of hanging space in the closet and a large bureau, so you can really unpack and relax. I was there during a 94-degree heat wave, and the air conditioning coped quite well. It also fulfilled my top two requirements: plenty of hot water, and spotlessly clean. Overall, I was very happy with my choice, and would certainly stay here again."

  • Highly recommended!

"The location is excellent. You can easily reach to Times Square and the theatre district, the Empire State Building, Central Park, Grand Central Station, shopping on 5th Avenue, and so forth. The rooms are nice. Not the cheapest apartment you'll find but you get quality for what you are buying in this case. Highly recommended."

  • Spacious apartment in a great location

"My husband and I had stayed in this apartment for a month five years ago and were delighted to find it available again for a three-month stay. Ideal location for museums (Metropolitan, Museum of Natural History (2 blocks away), the Guggenheim, etc. Lincoln Center is a 20-minute walk. The area is noted for its restaurants (e.g., Kefi's, Sarabeth's) and Zabar's famous grocery is a block and a half away. Three bedrooms plus a pull-out sofa means plenty of accommodation for kids and any relatives who want to visit you in New York. A sense of spaciousness with high ceilings and a long hallway that runs the length of the apartment. Big closets and other storage space. Easy recycling and garbage disposal. Does not face the street, so is pretty quiet for a place in such a bustling location. Modern kitchen."
