  • Excellent team

"I travelled to NY during bad weather and my flight was cancelled and then the last minute flight I was able to re-book arrived very late. I was communicating with the booking team the whole time and they were quite helpful and understanding. It helped keep us calm during such a stressful day! When I arrived, the greeter was very nice about our situation, we were embarrassed to have her wait so long! Then throughout the stay any questions we had, the booking team answered them all and in a timely manner. The apartment was exactly as advertised so no surprises there."

  • Excellent

"Arrived with my family, and the owner accepted us nicely. He gave us recommendations and instructions to the area. The apartment is comfortable, simple, well equipped, and resides in a great location 5 minutes from Times Square. When we had issues or questions the owner was quick to respond and help. Probably the best place to stay for the price."

  • Great Holiday Trip

"We stayed with Eileen at Turtle Bay. We had an exceptional time. The apartment was spacious, clean and well decorated. We enjoyed the location as it was easy to navigate all over the entire city from there. Eileen is a great host and provided us with great information for purchasing tickets. The doormen were exceptionally nice and accommodating, we felt like it was our home away from home! Thanks Eileen for opening up your house to us for our Holiday trip!!"

  • Stay in style in NYC while enjoying a beautiful view

"The positive (definitely outweighs the critique): We really enjoyed our stay in this condo. First, the view is spectacular. The unit is very comfortable, with lots of space (for our family of 3). The location is great, too. There's even a drug store next door where you can pick up an essentials you may need throughout your stay. We found it surprisingly, and delightfully quiet. The kitchen, TVs and internet are nice amenities. There is ample seating for having guests, too (we hosted 4 others on Super Bowl Sunday for a total of 7 people in the living room area and it was comfortable). Our point of contact for this unit, Nate, is an excellent communicator and a pleasure to work with. Our greeter, Shantel, was friendly and punctual. The off-season rate we received (early February) was a great value. Had I paid peak travel season prices, my following critiques would have mattered more to me, but for this stay, they didn't weigh on me too much. The critique: I feel it's important to paint a realistic picture of the stay we had, so I'm sharing the less-than-perfect things, too. I hope the owner will correct these things for other guests. We arrived late at night (nearly 1am), and to make it convenient, our greeter was to coordinate with the doorman to have a key ready for us. Unfortunately, there was some miscommunication and the doorman there at the time of our arrival was unaware of this arrangement. So, instead of going straight up to our room, we had to scramble to work things out and sit around waiting in the lobby for a bit. They were apologetic and understanding, though. At the time of our stay, one of the two bathroom faucets had a leak. The dripping didn't keep us awake or anything, it's just something that should be fixed. The tile in the shower is pretty beat up. My daughter wanted to take a bath, but the water filling the tub was not clear (brownish) - yuck. Some of the towels, pillows, sheets are tired and should be replaced. The unit could use warmer blankets. There are several vertical blinds missing in each of the two rooms/windows. Note to the owner: It seems that the radiator by the living room window puts off heat even when the AC is running. Despite the relatively minor issues mentioned in my critique, the stay was great and the view / location makes up for it! We would definitely stay here again, especially if the alternative is a small, New York hotel room. Thanks again Nate and Shantel!"
