  • Perfect place for family vacation in NYC!!!

"Great place to stay for our family of four (2 teenagers) on a 4 night vacation in NYC. Apartment was very nice, big, clean and owners were great to work with. We stayed in July 2016 during a heat wave and the air conditioning worked great so we had a cool oasis to come back to and rest up while in between activities. There was an outdoor deck which provided some private outdoor space which is very rare in NYC. Neighborhood was nice with plenty of nearby grocery stores, bagel shops, coffee shops, restaurants, etc. It is a little if beaten path but still only 3 or 4 blocks to Empire State Bldg so you can walk to Times Square and Midtown deatinations but we just took Cabs, Uber and Subway and got around town easily. We would come back here next time the whole family wants to go to NYC in a heartbeat."

  • Perfect Location

"Great location for grabbing the bus or subway to see the sights of NY. Only a few blocks from Central Park. We love to travel and live how the locals live. Cooking was a plus for us. The kitchen was well appointed, however, just make sure the pots, pans and plates are clean before you use them. We did have one issue that was taken care of immediately. That was greatly appreciated. We have and will again rent an apartment where ever we travel. I would recommend this apartment to others."

  • Beautiful brownstone perfect for us!

"Wow, what a find! Darlyn has a wonderful property to offer! At first I was unsure about staying in Harlem, but it was a last minute trip and Darlyn responded to me first! Thank goodness she did! I found out that I love Harlem and I loved staying in a neighborhood rather than in Times Square as I've done in the past! The place itself is very spacious, the bedroom is lovely with high ceilings and a dreamy bed. The pull out twin beds are very comfortable as well. I am PICKY, people. The kitchen was beautiful and well appointed, everything one would need! Linens were Turkish cotton and smelled fresh and clean, which is actually rare. Bathroom is small, but the water pressure is great and I used the floor to ceiling mirror in the bedroom to get ready, so that didn't matter to me. There's a fan, extra comforters, a rolling cart for groceries, air conditioning that works fantastically. Door dead bolts which I liked. The neighborhood is wonderful with coffee shops, delis, restaurants, grocery stores, you're right by the 1 subway line which takes you everywhere from the village to battery park to Columbia. People are friendly and I never felt unsafe with my children. It's a family feel in the building as well. I imagine coming again in the fall with the crisp weather and being so cozy at this special place. I fell in love :) Don't hesitate to visit this place. Such a gem!"
