  • Great VRBO Experience

"My family and I just returned from a Thanksgiving trip to Buffalo where we stayed at the Brownstone. It's a great property. The interior is updated with excellent fixtures and appliances. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is stocked with anything you could need to cook as if you were at home. The location is also excellent, with the property being situated between two of Buffalo's major thoroughfares (Main Street and Delaware Avenue). We were a bit concerned about parking, as on street is the only option in the area. With the Thanksgiving holiday, this concern never materialized. The owner of the property (Amy) was always quick to reply to e-mails leading up to the stay, and reached-out to ensure everything was in order during it. I highly recommend the Brownstone if you're looking for excellent quality at a reasonable price during your next trip to Buffalo."

  • Clean and comfortable

"My sister, nephew and I were visiting Niagra Falls for two nights and came across this cottage while searching for places to stay. It is a fantastic alternative to a hotel as we would need at least two rooms; it is just as nice as a hotel and less expensive. Plus, it has a full kitchen and a great front porch on which to relax with morning coffee. Located in a quiet, working class neighborhood on a dead-end street, it is within 10 minutes of the falls, and it's also within 10 minutes of Lewiston, a great little town with restaurants & shops (highly recommend going here to get out of the touristy Niagra area). The cottage seems to be very recently renovated and is extremely well-appointed with everything we needed. The owner was very easy to contact and was prompt in her responses. As for Niagra Falls itself, we just did the Maid of the Mist which was very enjoyable. We parked in Lot 3 on Goat Island - it was free - and paid the $3 a person for the trolley which took us to the other part of the state park where the Maid is located. The trolley is a great way to save $10-$20 in parking fees and get out of the super high congested parking areas - the trolleys came by every five minutes. We visited on a Sunday in late July, so I'm expecting it was peak tourist time, and we could tell. Very crowded. We traveled about 20 minutes up the highway to Youngstown to take a ride on the Whirlpool Jet Boats. It was fantastic and worth very penny!"

  • A Wonderful Gathering Place

"A group I studied abroad with got together with our families for the weekend. The house provided ample space for adults to sit and talk and children to explore or just chill out and watch a movie. We had a great time!"
