  • Wonderful home for relaxing in November!

"I've heard that Wilson is a great, happening place in summer so what about November? If you're looking for a fall or winter place where you can sit and watch the lake through big glass windows and just chill, this is the home for you. It is SO comfortable, from the leather sofa in the living room, to the dining room table with lake views, to the 3 comfy bedrooms, you can always find a spot to be alone or to gather with family and friends. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner (kitchen is fully equipped), visited Niagara Falls (the Canadian side - bring your passports) and went to an antique co-op. It was wonderful. Maybe next time we'll come back in summer!"

  • Cozy and clean

"Sandy was wonderful to work with. She made sure we would have everything we would need before we arrived and was in touch while we were there in case we needed anything else. The cottage itself was immaculate and very cozy. We plan on returning next fall."

  • Clean, plenty of space, great yard for kids!

"We stayed at the Niagara River Inn during our children's spring break from school. The Inn is very close to Niagara Falls. The drive is short, and the wait time to cross the border into Canada was only about 20 minutes on a Sunday morning and only about 2 minutes on a Tuesday afternoon. (We were told the wait times are much longer in summer months.) We stayed at the Inn with one other family, for a total of 4 adults, 3 kids. The property is great for getting your kids outside to play. They spent the majority of the time in the yard. They rolled down the hill (over and over again), played on the little sandy beach, found snails in the yard, watched the ducks swim by, warmed up at our fire pit in the evenings, and enjoyed the hot tub. There are plenty of TVs in the house, but our kids were more excited about being outside. I can imagine the place is even more exciting for kids when the pool opens up a little later in the season! We appreciated that everything we needed was there. We didn't have to pack linens, soap, paper towels, etc...Glenn, the owner, provides just about everything you need. He even provided a bottle of wine when we arrived. Great location close to the Falls, but also a great place to spend with your family to get away from screens and just enjoy time with each other outside. The only recommendation for making the Inn even better is adding some additional rails to the upstairs balcony for safety. We just didn't allow the kids out there at all without an adult. That was fine with them, because they preferred to be out in the yard."

  • Great family weekend

"We use to live in Niagara Falls and were home to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday with family and friends. The house is located on a safe small quiet street where the neighbors all know each other. The house is comfortable the beds were new and having AC was definitely a plus. The kitchen has a seating for 4. The dining room has the larger table that can sit 6. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the comfy chairs. TV and WiFi were easy to use. Grocery stores, gas stations and pharmacies are located a few blocks away and it is a short drive to the falls or about ten to fifteen-minute walk. Doreen was fantastic, whenever we needed anything I texted her and she was right there. We would definitely stay again."
