We have taken many extra precautions and Have implemented extra steps, We'll be Cleaning, Disinfecting and Sanitizing, All contact surfaces in the home, To help ensure a Healthy Vacation. Welcome to the "Walk to the River House" , that's what my daughter likes to call our home. We have prepared a beautifully renovated two bedroom, one full bathroom lower apartment. It has a full kitchen with everything you need to cook, a Business workspace, dining room, living room and entry foyer, an outside porch and swing to sit & relax.

This space is located 2 miles from Niagara Falls & great attractions such as Maid of the Mist & Cave of the Winds as well as delicious local cuisine, fantastic shopping, family-friendly activities & public transportation. We are truly conveniently located.

We are new to home away, though we have been hosting visitors from July 2016 with AirBnB. We have over 65 reviews, we qualify as a super host because of our five star status. We definitely take pride in our home and are very friendly with visitors.

We are located in one of the nicer neighborhoods in the Falls, It is quiet and safe with wonderful neighbors. We have big, beautiful trees lining both sides of the street as well as in the yard.

Just a short walk down the street, there is a bicycle/walking path that goes along the upper Niagara River and takes you directly to the Falls. There is also a bus stop for city travel located on the corner of 58th and Buffalo Ave.

We are very pet friendly and would love if your pet family member could accompany you on your vacation, we do allow SMALL pets (under 25lbs) but please check with us first for approval and there is an additional fee $25/pet for the first day and $20 per day after that.
If you have more than one pet or you are going to be staying for more than 2 day's or your dog is bigger than 25 pounds, Please check with me, I may be able to make special arrangements and adjust the pricing to give you a better deal. Again, please contact me first. Thank you.
Note: if your pet has nails that are sharp, Please be mindful of the leather couch and chair. Also, If you plan on leaving your pet at the house when you are not there, your pet must be kenneled. (but I also have a little playpen available for you to use in case you do not have a kennel.) Thank you

I Wonderful Base From Which To Explore

We loved our stay here. We went out in multiple directions to visit nearby sites and had great days. The home is clean and inviting. We would stay here again for a visit to the falls and area.

Host was very nice to deal with by text and phone. However, the welcome package and text messages did not appear to accurate. Several things did not match the documentation. No hangers for clothes or towels. Not the cleanest place I have stayed.

Very dirty property!

I had this placed booked for a week, and we only stayed one night. It was nothing like the listing, very dirty, shower knobs were very loose, TV didn't work, there was no clean area to sit out side, I have stayed at Verbo's and Air BB;s before and I have never had these issues, I will be trying to get some money back.

Close to everything!

The owner gave me food, sightseeing and information about visiting the Falls. We followed everything and were no more than 10-15 minutes from anywhere we wanted to get.

Good Enough

Location was great! Neighborhood was nice and good for walking the dog. Property owner was responsive when items were needed for the rental. The entire rental needs a deep clean and some more seating for the TV room. Maybe a few upgrades to the furniture, appliances, kitchen ware etc.

Cut our stay by one night as the place was not comfortable for my husband and me and our two grandchildren and our puppy. To our opinion, The place needs much improvement and care. Perhaps we had too high of expectations from an VRBO listing with a relatively high rating. On a plus side, David, the owner, was fast of addressing some of the issues we reported.

Hoped for better

The house is older which would be acceptable. Once we started settling in, it looked like someone was living there & they had not cleaned prior to our arrival. Due to our late arrival, we had nowhere else & had to stay one night. The next morning, we contacted owner who was apologetic but had to find another place to stay. We have requested refund and have not heard any response. I hope this can be resolved & the owner corrects the issues.

We had no communication with the owner prior to our arrival thus not knowing check in procedures or information about the rental. Once we got in we were met with a very unclean property: food on kitchen floor, unmade bed, mold on shower curtain, dirt and dust on window sills and more. Essentially it looked like it had not been clean. When the owner was contacted we were met with excuses why the property was the way it was. Example: cleaning lady just had a baby. None the less, we were very disappointed in our accommodations and ended up cutting our stay shorter.

Falls vacation

The neighborhood was quiet and we did feel safe. The property was horrible! Nothing was as it was presented. When we arrived we had to knock the cob webs down so we could get in the door! The furniture in the online picture was not the furniture in the unit. Not a big desk but the furniture that was there was worn and very uncomfortable! One love seat and one chair in the livingroom,one person had to add it on a kitchen chair to watch tv. Oh yeah there was an office chair we could have used but it was so dirty and covered in hair we just pushed it aside! The fridge was filthy and window ledge and air conditioner full of cob webs and bugs! Such a shame to have a place in this location to be so undercared for! No checkout communication given. Previous reviews very good is only reason we choose this place! VRBO needs to fact check their hosts!

Review for House on Orchard Parkway instead

On Monday before heading out for our trip on Tuesday, I received a call from the property owner letting us know that he would like to move us from this property (that I had reserved) to the property on Orchard Parkway. He had discovered that the hot water heater had gone out and he didn't think he had enough time to get it repaired before we arrived the next day. He was willing do this at no additional charge to us and the other property was 3 rooms instead of 2 and we had the full property to ourselves. This was fine with us and he provided all the new information to me. The house must be newly acquired as I couldn't find it on Vrbo but through Zillow I was about to find that it had recently sold. The home was built in the 1920's but has had several updates to it. It is located on a quiet street lined with trees. It is 2 stories, 1 bath, 3 bedrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen and sunroom. I believe there is a basement and an attic area but these were not accessible to us. The one bathroom is located upstairs. And following most homes of that period it isn't ADA accessible if this is a need for a family. The home does have AC which works well but you will be froze on the 1st floor if you are one who needs it cold to sleep. There are ceiling fans in 2 of the upstairs bedrooms which helped with the air flow. The place sleeps 7 but we only needed 3 of the beds. Each of the ones we used were comfortable and clean. Reached my limit but could say more.

The main bed sheets were dirty with hair on them. The spare bed was just as scary. I slept on the chair and my friend slept on the couch. We left a day early. Certainly not worth the price.

Front porch had dirty furniture, cushions, bottom step needed repair, tv did not work, tried password several times but couldn't get it to work, wash cloths thin and stained, bed small and it squeaked when you just turned or got in bed. The good thing it was less than ten minutes to Niagra Falls. We left a day early even though we paid for an additional night.
