  • Wonderful Stay!

"We were a group of 4 women up for the weekend to explore the islands and this house was a perfect fit for us. Centrally located to everything we were able to conveniently walk to the grocery store and waterfront. The house is extremely spacious and clean. My favorite part was the front porch. I would recommend the house for any type of group or family. Jill was more than accommodating our needs and making sure our stay was going well. Thank you!"

  • Heritage House offered all the comforts of home.

"Our family of 5 adults enjoyed our recent stay at the Heritage House. Marjorie was prompt in confirming our reservation. Before our arrival, we e-mailed and had a phone conversation to go over the details concerning the house and area. Marjorie was friendly, helpful and offered good sight-seeing suggestions for our short stay of 3 days. Heritage House lived up to its listing and reviews. The house and grounds were spacious, clean, light and comfortable. We cooked most of our meals at the house. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, implements and serving ware. The deck and the front patio sitting area offered lovely perches to view the changing light. The house location was perfect for sight-seeing,, It's a 15-20 minutes walk to the village of Clayton and the Antique Boat Museum (a world class collection of boats). The village has a well stocked supermarket and a good selection of eateries. We ventured to Tibbetts Point Lighthouse and the Cape Winery in Cape Vincet. We also took the Two Nations cruise - offered by Unicle Sam boat tours in Alexandria Bay. Sight-seeing was easy and personal, as we traveled in the shoulder season. The Thousand Islands must be teeming with visitors during the summer months. Thanks to Marjorie and Heritage House, our family had a delightful getaway."

  • The best !!!

"Great home, great view, great location, and we had a great time! The property is just perfect and we recommend it to anyone that might be interested. This is the second time we stayed at the house and my wife and I are already talking about our next visit. Scott, who is the property's contact person, is always helpful and patient with any questions that you might have. We can't wait for our next visit! Rose and Bill Wheeler"

  • Great spot! Great time!

"Our first trip to the Thousand Islands and it was awesome! John and Frannie were great hosts. You will have no problems with your stay and if you do, they will be there to support. The whole cottage was great (and clean). Kitchen was stocked w all that you need (and clean). Linens and bath towels are provided (and clean). Even the couch is comfy (and clean). The location was spot on and provided our family of four--two boys (5&8)--the best opportunities for a great time. They enjoyed running in the large yard. Playing on the beach. And most importantly...FISHING from the docks! Lot's of fishing!! Kayaks and life jackets are also available. And you have access to the dock if you own a boat. Or if you plan to rent a boat, Clayton Marina is a short drive/ride from the place. We are looking forward to next summer's trip back to the 1000 islands! Oh...did I mention the place was clean, smile. Enjoy your time!"
