  • Serenity at it's best !

"My husband and I had a fabulous week stay at the cottage ! Although we did not get to meet Beth, she and her husband were very accommodating and provided everything that was needed and more! The cottage was very clean and comfortable, and even nicer than the pictures show! Our only wish was that there was an umbrella table on the deck for enjoying the beautiful view, while having our morning coffee and happy hour drinks and snacks .Also just a short drive to Clayton , which is a great little town . The new hotel is amazing, with breath taking views , and the food was delicious! We definitely will be back next year and have also recommended it to family and friends ( some even came up to visit , while we were there!) Hopefully we get an available boat to rent next yr. as well! Thank You Beth and Scott for a great week! Gabrielle & Joe"

  • Great first visit to The Thousand Islands!

"My family enjoyed our 4 day stay at this property. This was our first visit to The Thousand Islands and we will certainly return for another stay! . We were greeted by Carmen and MaryLou. They were very friendly and spent time making sure we were taken care of. We enjoyed the convenience of docking our boat at the site. We were originally concerned with sharing the front area/fire pit with the residents of the mobile park, but found we enjoyed their company. We absolutely loved watching the large ships travel up and down the river...especially at night when they were lit up. We loved the home. The house was clean and very comfortable. We cooked our meals at the house and found the kitchen had everything we needed. The sun room was perfect for morning coffee while reading a book. We toured Boldt Castle which is just a few minutes away. We also drove our boat to Grindstone Island where we anchored our boat at Potter's Beach and walked on the island. Joe V answered our questions by e-mail within hours. My husband and 2 adult children and myself would certainly stay here again!"

  • Absolutely PERFECT for our family!

"We came to Alex Bay for my Daughter's wedding at Boldt Castle; had never been up here before and wanted to stay for 4 days to see the sights. A friend suggested instead of paying the steep price for the resort my daughter had blocked for her guests. Best advice I ever got! Saw the house months prior to see what we were renting. Loved it from the outside; couldn't wait to see all of the inside. Very impressive from the start. Loved the vintage furniture. Perfect for 9-10 people of ALL ages. Roomy, yet quite cozy. The night after the wedding, we had a family/friend get together BBQ in the back yard; the Woods even provided us with perfect weather! I can't say enough about this house. My son-in-law and grandson made use of the video games; my daughter and her boyfriend took advantage of a midnight flick; the dining room table was perfect for our pizza dinner (The Korner) on our last night. The view from the front yard was beautiful; watching the boats and freighters float by. I wanted to stay for at least another day if not more. We had an opportunity to meet the owners on the morning of the wedding; very nice people. YES, it was very clean YES, there were plenty of towels, cookware, dishes. YES, it is within walking distance of the heart of Alex Bay. I had a very enjoyable walk into town; my daughter had a nice run as well. Very quiet area. YES, I would totally rent this house again! You will not be disappointed, I promise. I had already told Mrs. Woods that I would post it on my FB. I have been home for 3 days and have not stopped talking about our stay. Get some friends together for next season and enjoy this home! Seriously. Don't forget to do an Uncle Sam's Boat Tour of the area! Riley's by the River also has great food! We had our rehearsal dinner/meet-n-greet there. The prime rib was to die for!"

  • Great week in Thousand Islands New York

"There is much to do and see in this area including a short trip to Kingston Ontario. After a day of sightseeing and activities we always looked forward to getting back to the villa. The villa is in a quiet setting with a view of the harbor. It was very clean and better equipped than most places we have stayed. I can't say enough about the owners who responded quickly to every question while we were there. They were never more than a text message on an e mail away. When we go back to this area I hope this villa will be available Roger and Bev Parrott"
