  • very nice

"We were up for our 40th LMC Class Reunion. It was a wonderful house and we truly enjoyed our stay. Very nicely furnished. I would say the only suggestion would be the location of the lockbox. For us old folk :) it was not real easy to get to, but we did it:) Thanks for everything!"

  • Beautiful House in a Great Area

"My Fiance and I, along with our Golden Retrievers, stayed here with a few friends for a weekend getaway and had an absolute blast. The house is just as cute as it looks in the pictures and is in a great location. We went down into Banner Elk on the first day and ate at The Bayou, which is a great little dive bar with good food. The next morning we woke up and rented our gear from the ski shack, which is conveniently located right across the main road. We then drove up to Beech Mountain which is only about a 10 min drive for a day full of skiing. That night, we all got in the hot tub to help heal our sore bodies. I would definitely recommend this house to any group of 2 - 5 people looking for an beautiful, affordable rental property in a great location. Thanks for letting us stay at Tall Timbers, we will definitely be back!"

  • Wonderful mountain retreat that is top notch in every way

"Lazy K cabin was the perfect spot for our fall trek to the mountains! The cabin was immaculate and stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen had everything we needed for a couple of home cooked meals. The setting is private and the views are fantastic. My daughter and I (the early risers in the family) enjoyed watching the first light of the morning spread out over the mountains. The cabin was centrally located for our wanderings along the Blue Ridge Parkway and close by to Valle Crucis, Boone, and Blowing Rock."

  • Just what our family needed!

"We were thrilled to spend 2/19/16-2/22/16 at the cabin. We brought our kids (all teenagers) and our dog with us. We spent the day at Sugar Mountain and the evenings we stayed in and made dinner and ate by the fire. It was so perfect. The home is incredible. Its very large and the rooms are placed in the very best spaces. The open kitchen and family room really helped us stay gathered and we had such a great time. We felt we havefound our gem in the mountains and cannot wait to return again and again!"
