  • Beautiful mountain cabin

"Our family had a great time at your beautiful cabin. From pool and cornhole tournaents to quiet times around the fire pit everyone enjoyed themselves. Oh and don't forget the relaxing hot tub. We all enjoyed an outstanding week. A perfect getaway. Tim and Cherrie DeGroot and family"

  • Quiet and comfortable stay!

"Really enjoyed our stay in the Dogwood home. Perfect for a quiet get away with plenty to do. Only recommendation is to bring an extra fan or two, if more than two people are staying in the summer. Worked out great for us, especially with being pet friendly! Will definitely be coming back!"

  • Mountain fun!

"Just returned from 5 days at Beechwood Bungalow. This is a lovely home nestled in a very private spot on Beech Mountain. We were completely cozy and comfortable the whole visit. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck and taking in the nature around us. There was a mother deer and her baby fawn that hung out right past the deck and we loved watching them each day. We had a wonderful time whitewater rafting, hiking and exploring the mountain. Our family stayed with our friends and so we had 4 adults and 6 kids between us. It was SO much fun. Our friends played frisbee golf one day and said it was the BEST frisbee golf course they've seen. We loved it!!"

  • Beautiful house in a fantastic location

"We have been staying at Bridget's for the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games for several years. She has been continually upgrading it inside, turning it into a real gem with beautiful hardwood floors, a huge stone fireplace, new black kitchen counters added this year, and many fine details. Everything is in excellent condition. The house is situated at the corner of two quiet dirt roads, overlooking a mountain stream. It is sheltered and cool in summer and close to recreational facilities and the town center of Beech Mountain, with its restaurants and other facilities. It has four bedrooms, sleeping eight. Downstairs if you open a window you can sleep to the sound of the brook. It also has balconies on two levels overlooking the stream with ornamental iron tables and chairs for breakfast Al fresco."
