  • Great place, great location

"Every year my sister and I try to get together. This year we chose the Asheville area because their was an exhibition at the Biltmore that we felt our girls would enjoy. They came from Michigan and we came from came from Atlanta. It was difficult to find somewhere that would accomodate 6 (ages 12 to 62) and was affordable. This property was our answer. What a great space with SO much character.....it was immaculate and had everything you could possibly need. And the space....indoor and out...we loved the privacy of the hot tub! The hosts were awesome. We had to call about the internet, and they offered to have someone come out! Turned out it was just an unplugged cable. It's a great place at a great price....definite stay again location for us!"

  • Wonderful vacation!

"My family had an absolutely lovely time staying at Donna's Black Mtn. Hideaway. The house was spotlessly clean and well-appointed. The location was perfect. Secluded enough to feel like you are really in the mountains, but just a hop-skip from Black Mountain's charming downtown. We enjoyed hikes in Montreat and to Catawba Falls, both in super-easy driving distance. I would definitely recommend this charming home to a family of 3 or 4 (or just a couple looking to get away!). I keep trying to click "5 stars" above the review title, but there is a glitch on the web page. 5 stars!"

"A little hard to find the first day but that was our fault, directions were clear. Stayed 3 days, although we went mainly for hiking, Black Mountain is real close to Ashville and lots of other interesting places, including Chimney Rock. We hiked 2 days and found a great trail in Montreat, just a few miles from Black Mountain. Cabin was great, clean, great views and only a few miles from town."

  • What a view!!!!

"We spent our July 4th holiday at this lodge and loved every minute of it. Everything was wonderful. The beds were comfortable and there was more than enough room for all of us. We spent most of our time on the top deck just looking at the mountains. We ventured out once so that our grandkids could go fishing. Just a short drive to Morse Park. The owner was more than accommodating and easy to work with. Many restaurants and shops just a short drive into Chimney Rock & Lake Lure. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone that is looking for relaxing and amazing views!"
