  • Enjoyed our time at the cabin

"You can tell that they take care of the cabin. The cabin was older but had many many updates. The owners put alot of thought into how to outfit the cabin. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils. The bathrooms were clean and functional. The beds were comfortable. The living room was great to sit, relax and watch some TV after visiting the Biltmore and riding on the BlueRidge Parkway. The outdoor area had plenty of seating and the hot tub was great and clean. The front porch was nice to sit and rock with out morning coffee. Parking is adequate but wasn't quite large enough for our truck and trailer, but we were able to find an place to put the trailer to give us room to manuveur at the cabin. Black Mountain which is near by is a quaint town with some great restaurants to eat at."

  • Stunning!

"This was my first cabin adventure and it set the bar high! Not knowing what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised walking through the door. Spacious and luxurious, yet felt like a home away from home. The cabin is very well maintained and exceptionally clean! The rooms are cozy and the kitchen has all desired appliances. The kitchen even supplies a dumbwaiter to the game room for a fun and easy transport of food and beverage. The large deck has amazing mountain views over tree tops and a hot tub! Just a short distance from the cabin, is a cute seating area around a fire pit next to a pond. It was fun being able to venture through the woods and enjoy the tranquil sounds of the creek. This property provided everything from appliances, to a well equipped game room, to breathtaking views. I would highly recommend this property and all its serenity. It really has it all and made for an unforgettable experience!"

  • We could not have been more pleased in our two months' stay.

"The owners were readily available for help with a couple minor mechanical things--most accommodating. This is a well appointed modern home. We know Black Mountain very well and wanted to be close in town this stay, having always stayed in the hills in the past. It is 5 minutes from anywhere in town. There are several good restaurants. The kichen is spacious and well equipped. The upstairs master BR has ensuite bath and a study suitable for sleeping on a queen air mattress that is included. There is another BR with bath on the first floor. Additional sleeping is in a large downstairs room on a couch or you can bring an air matress or cot, or both. We grilled on the back porch. It is situated in a neighborhood in the end of an exquisitely quiet, untrafficked cul-de-sac. Except when we took walks or went out to eat, we couldn't see the nearby houses. It was ideal. When grands visited, there was wonderful play area in the long driveway and virtually empty cul-de-sac. The enclosed sunroom is also suitable for sleeping, but it was our favorite spot to sit for morning coffee, sometimes for four hours. Thanks for the use of your excellent place."

  • Great House

"Great house at a great price. We really enjoyed our time at the house and in Asheville. The deck is a perfect place to pass time in late spring/early time. We definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a family get away."
