"Beautiful cabin with amazing porch with carolina rockers to enjoy your coffee. Fabulous hot tub to relax in after a climb to chimney rock. And only 2 hrs from Charlotte airport. Incredible weekend. Thank you!!!❤"

  • Absolutely loved our stay!

"Several of us stayed at the European Cottage as part of a family reunion. It was fabulous! The location is perfect! Easy walk down to Lake Tomahawk! But it was just as enjoyable to hang out in the back yard. The deck is large and fabulous. Although only 5 of us slept here, we had the family reunion group over one night for a meal and it was great! Well stocked kitchen, so we could cook/grill, and there is plenty of seating. Then, of course, we enjoyed the hot tub. We also got an "art tour" of the pieces in the cottage from Patrice. It's all so well put together and just a very pleasant place to be. I enjoyed having my morning coffee and newspaper/computer reading at the bar on the deck, and I enjoyed the seating in the yard underneath the tree for book/afternoon reading. Loved the sunken jetted tub. I'm going back!"

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was great! Just what we wanted. Lots of room for 10 family members to spread out. Enjoyed game room and brought out door games for the large lawn area. Bathroom upstairs did leak into lower level bedroom despite following instructions. Appears more caulking around top of tub by shower curtain would work. Bug population in the cabin was pretty significant: millipeeds, centipeeds, small black flying insects in basement. But we knew we were going to an isolated location and the bugs were there long before we were! Loved hearing the trains periodically! Overall a great cabin in the mountains experience."

  • Family trip with girls (10 and 12) and dog was FANTASTIC!!!

"Could not have had a better time at the cabin - woods surrounding were great for hiking, ponds and creeks were the best for "unencumbered" exploring. Cabin itself was perfect for a family of four and pooch. Owner took care of a small issue (we accidentally turned off the water pump while searching for light switches!) immediately, and the place was totally outfitted for comfort and relaxation. The soaker tub was big enough for me to completely enjoy (6'2", so that's not normal). Rain day was awesome, as the creeks started raging. Make an appt with the Blue Ridge Mountain Creamery down below the cabin for a cool tour and some delicious cheese!!!"
