  • Warm and inviting, perfect home away from home...

"Everything was perfect during our five day stay! The cottage had all the conveniences of our very own home. We will definitely stay there again. Thank you so much for such a memorable stay!"

  • Peaceful and location, location, location

"My daughter and I spent 4 nights at Highrock for a mother daughter weekend. The cabin was cozy with comfortable beds and mountain styled decor. Morning coffee on the porch rocking chairs was one of my favorite routines followed by hot tub soaks after hiking in the Piscah National Park. The cabin is conveniently located to hiking trails as well as Asheville. Black Mountain is a great place for lunch and a little shopping."

  • Perfect Haven for a Fall Family Getaway

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a wonderful time with friends and family at Byrd's Nest. The rental was clean, well equipped with tons of kitchen supplies and linens. There was lots to do around the house to entertain us and be on the lookout for the tree swing, which was definitely a hidden gem."

  • Family trip with girls (10 and 12) and dog was FANTASTIC!!!

"Could not have had a better time at the cabin - woods surrounding were great for hiking, ponds and creeks were the best for "unencumbered" exploring. Cabin itself was perfect for a family of four and pooch. Owner took care of a small issue (we accidentally turned off the water pump while searching for light switches!) immediately, and the place was totally outfitted for comfort and relaxation. The soaker tub was big enough for me to completely enjoy (6'2", so that's not normal). Rain day was awesome, as the creeks started raging. Make an appt with the Blue Ridge Mountain Creamery down below the cabin for a cool tour and some delicious cheese!!!"
