  • Relaxing!

"My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The cabin was clean and the location was perfect. We only had to bring out food. Everything else was provides. It was so relaxing and so peaceful. It was a much needed vacation for us and this cabin met our needs. We enjoyed the hot tub almost every night and eating breakfast on the front porch. My husband especially enjoyed the porch swing. We would definitely recommend this cabin."

  • We could not have been more pleased in our two months' stay.

"The owners were readily available for help with a couple minor mechanical things--most accommodating. This is a well appointed modern home. We know Black Mountain very well and wanted to be close in town this stay, having always stayed in the hills in the past. It is 5 minutes from anywhere in town. There are several good restaurants. The kichen is spacious and well equipped. The upstairs master BR has ensuite bath and a study suitable for sleeping on a queen air mattress that is included. There is another BR with bath on the first floor. Additional sleeping is in a large downstairs room on a couch or you can bring an air matress or cot, or both. We grilled on the back porch. It is situated in a neighborhood in the end of an exquisitely quiet, untrafficked cul-de-sac. Except when we took walks or went out to eat, we couldn't see the nearby houses. It was ideal. When grands visited, there was wonderful play area in the long driveway and virtually empty cul-de-sac. The enclosed sunroom is also suitable for sleeping, but it was our favorite spot to sit for morning coffee, sometimes for four hours. Thanks for the use of your excellent place."

  • Great House

"Great house at a great price. We really enjoyed our time at the house and in Asheville. The deck is a perfect place to pass time in late spring/early time. We definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a family get away."

  • Remarkable mountaintop cabin

"This beautiful, well-kept cabin is nestled into the woods atop a mountain, about a mile or so from the continental divide. Although it does not have a long range view, you are undeniably in the mountains, in the midst of the wild, yet just 20 minutes from the popular destinations of Black Mountain, Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. I was there for a week, partly work and partly vacation. All was clean, fresh and well appointed with everything you could need. If it weren't for my locking the key in the cabin, I likely would never have even needed to meet the hosts. Buck was very friendly and helpful. Mary Beth was always quick to respond to my communications before/after, extremely helpful and professional. I'm sure I'll be back."
