  • Excellent Cabin for a quiet getaway...

"Beautiful cabin in a quiet, gated community. Close to Chimney Rock State Park (20 min) and about an hour to Asheville. Furnishings are excellent and beds are comfortable. Kitchen has everything you need. Jennifer was an excellent host. Would definitely stay again."

  • Great house for a large group

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Souveniers for 7 nights in September with 6 adults and 4 children ages 1-4. This is a great house for a large group or family: the common areas are spacious and there are also areas of the house where you can spread out to enjoy some quiet. The house has a lovely view of the lake. The outdoor areas are great - the only thing we would suggest adding is more outdoor seating. We used the outdoor kitchen several times. The decor is modern and clean and the beds were comfortable. The property seemed well maintained; the only complaint being that some of the bathrooms had a mildewy smell. The property manager was responsive when we had a little trouble with the air conditioner mid-stay. The indoor kitchen was large and fairly well stocked, although finding items within the drawers and cabinets was a bit of a challenge. We enjoyed visiting the beach and the pool within the resort and also enjoyed a couple of hikes nearby. We would return to this property again and would recommend it for a large family or group traveling together."

  • Wonderful fall getaway!

"My daughter and I met at Costas Landing for our annual fall birthday trip. We love to try new places and we weren't disappointed. Lake Lure is a beautiful little town, as well as the others we visited, Black Mtn, Chimney Rock. If you're looking peace and quiet, yet have great restaurants and so much to do nearby, this is for you. Point of View just down the road had the best rainbow trout!! Jeff and Penny were most helpful. All in all, a great time. Hope to visit again next year."
