  • very good condo in a beautiful rustic setting

"We loved it. The condo is very comfortable and well equipped and the woodsy setting made for cooler afternoons under an umbrella of oak leaves - sitting on the decks was pleasant. Bed was comfy and large, showers worked well, kitchen had plenty of furnishings to be able to cook/eat in and for a 900 sq.ft. area it was roomy. Rumbling Bald itself offers so much the only requirement is a good place to call home for your time there and this condo proved to meet our needs very well. I will caution however that the TV reception is spotty with a lot of interference and the wi-fi is slow but these are certainly a result of being in the mountains - we got by with it as it was. We plan to go back next year."

  • Perfection!!

"What a house! What a beautiful location! The house was so well appointed and had everything that you could ask or want in a lake cabin. Loved that the kitchen was so well stocked for cooking. The bedrooms and beds were so comfortable and we loved having the pool table on the lower level. Sheets and towels were high quality and those beds!! Sooo comfortable! Having access to Rumbling Resort was an added touch. We love the beach and being able to grab a bite to eat in the resort when we felt like it. No packing lunch! The location is perfect for hiking and exploring. The Puco's were so helpful prior to our arrival with restaurant recommendations and things to do and see. The perfect getaway fro an Asheville vacation. We can't wait to go back! Don't book anywhere else!"

  • Perfect for our family vacation

"We stayed 5 nights at Pinnacle Peaks and thought it was the perfect vacation home for our family. We had 6 adults and 8 children and were very comfortable with the overall cleanliness, sleeping arrangements, common areas and kitchen. The pool and lake area were nice as well. We would definitely return to this same spot in the future. My only suggestion is to maybe bring extra bath towels if you have a large group because there weren't very many there and the dryer took a while to get things dry. Otherwise, it was great!"

  • Spectacular home and views!

"My sister and I enjoyed one of the most relaxing vacations ever at this breathtakingly beautiful home with a view to match! Everything about this home is well done and everything is provided for cooking including an outdoor grill. We enjoyed the outdoor deck on both the back and front of the house. We spent 2 entire days just sitting, relaxing on the deck and in the hot tub, enjoying the view and peace & quiet! We drove the Blue Ridge Mountain Parkway one day to Grandfather Mountain, visited the Biltmore Estate, downtown Asheville and Black Mountain and enjoyed authentic southern food are area restaurants. It was ALL spectacular. Lori was very helpful and replied to email questions quickly. The drive to and from is a little scary the first time. After that, it's an easy drive and we saw something different every time! One funny note, Lori provides great directions to get to the cabin. However, our GPS kept telling us to turn on other roads to get there. One day, a friend from SC came to visit and we decided to be adventurous and follow the GPS. DON'T EVER FOLLOW THE GPS! We ended up on many miles of dirt, one lane roads and on Bear Track Road, had to back up more than 1/2 mile because the SUV wouldn't/couldn't go any further. Wheels kept spinning because the gravel was so loose and the grade too steep. So follow only Lori's directions to the cabin!!! On the Blue Ridge Parkway, we saw a sign in front of a general store that said, "GPS Trauma Center" and had a good laugh!!! I've recommended this cabin to many of my friends and co-workers and would come back again myself! Thanks so much Lori for sharing your lovely cabin home with us! Virginia B"
