  • Beyond our expectations

"We were two families (3 adults, 3 young adults) and the house was just perfect. It was roomy, clean, and included everything we needed. The pictures don't do it justice. The setting on a lake is scenic and we used the resort amenities (pool, walking trail, golf range, movie rentals, spa). We cooked every meal in the house's large well stocked kitchen. We brought groceries ahead of time although a full-size grocery story was only about 10 minutes away. We grilled, played games, watched movies, used the hot tub, read in the evenings. Chimney Rock was a fun trip as was Ashville tacked onto the end. It was very relaxing and quiet. We absolutely loved this place and highly recommend it. The owner was a pleasure to work with."

  • Wonderful place to come and spend a great time with family and friends!!! Loved it!!!

"One of the greatest experience we've had as a family!!! This house is perfect for a getaway. Great for all ages. We were a group of 15 people and never felt as if we were so many with all the things to do at this place (kids playing outside or in the game room, adults just enjoying good company and the great view from the tarrace). And then there's also all the things to do outside the property. Chimney Rock and the Biltmore Estates are a must!! There's also the horseback riding and ziplining which were lots of fun as well. If I had to say something bad about this place, and I believe everyone would agree, is that it seems time goes by way too fast!!! That's what happens when you're enjoying something so much!!! One last thing is the owners... Such a pleasure to deal with! They are on top of everything. Very organized and always trying to accommodate their guests so they can enjoy their stay. Look no more!!! This is were you want to come!!!"

  • Beautiful!

"We stayed in Logged out for our daughter's wedding weekend. The cabin is beautiful! The way it's situation and the landscape around it almost makes it feel like a tree house. Lots of nice outdoor space with a small patio (with a grill; we didn't use it, but it was there), a screened porch, an upper deck and a fire pit out back! We had 6 adults in the cabin and there was plenty of room. We never felt like we were in each other's way and no one ever even used the loft! We couldn't figure out how to use the TV in the master bedroom, but we rarely had the televisions on, so that wasn't a major draw back. The only cautions I would give anyone are there are a lot of stairs between the parking spot and the cabin. My older mother had a little trouble with the stairs, but we managed. And the drive way is very steep and the parking spot is very small. We never tried to put both of our cars in the parking area down the driveway (we left one at the top of the hill; which is at the end of the 'road' and so we had plenty of room to leave it up top). Overall we loved the this property and plan to book another vacation here in the future."
