  • Great Stay

"We enjoyed our stay in this house. The views are amazing! The house was clean and the location seemed to be a midpoint around all the towns we were visiting (Asheville, Hendersonville, Saluda.) There's a grocery store within 5 miles also. Chimney Rock, Rumbling Bald access is walking distance from the house; we got to see some people bouldering there which was neat. We had a little trouble getting up the driveway in a minivan but it wouldn't be a problem in a 4wd vehicle; we just didn't park down there anymore - two vans easily fit in the carport. Becky is very friendly and easy to deal with. Would stay again if in the Lake Lure area."

  • Beautiful Cabin and Setting!

"We enjoyed our stay at the Piper Cabin! It was a very accommodating cabin for my family that is centrally located to so many activities. We will be back again to explore more of the area. We highly recommend the Piper Cabin for your stay!"

  • wonderful week!

"My wife, 13 year old son, 80 year old mother, sister in law, niece and nephew in their 20's vacationed here in the middle of June. It was our 8th vacation on lake lure. Harold was wonderful as was the house. The views from the porch are stunning. We took the pontoon boat to Larkins one night for dinner and it was magical. We also kayayed to the flower bridge one morning. While there are a lot of steps, we generally only went up or down once/day and my 80 year old mother (who is in good shape) was able to handle it fine. The upstairs AC was acting up the first night we were there and Harold has someone by to fix it the next day. One of the best vacations ever!"
