  • 4th year at Ledford's Landing

"This was the fourth fall we've rented Ledford's Landing for our group of five couples. Ledford's Landing never disappoints. This time we rented the pontoon boat and cruised the lake.... so relaxing. L.L. has everything we need.... plenty of room to spread out, an updated kitchen, fireplace, and lots of outdoor living space. We kayaked and canoed, and sat on the deck and enjoyed the lake and mountain view. You will not be disappointed with this property."

  • WONDERFUL EFFICIENCY IN QUITE GATED COMMUNITY

"Having lived in Lake Lure years ago, we were unfamiliar with Sweetbriar Farms area, What a hidden gem. Not commercialized, peaceful you felt a million miles away from everything yet it was just around the corner from anything you needed. We will be back. Never heard the chickens, we saw them!!! The place was acceptably clean and owners very very nice. It sure beats the higher priced VRBO in area!!! You will be glad you stayed,"

  • Beautiful!

"We stayed in Logged out for our daughter's wedding weekend. The cabin is beautiful! The way it's situation and the landscape around it almost makes it feel like a tree house. Lots of nice outdoor space with a small patio (with a grill; we didn't use it, but it was there), a screened porch, an upper deck and a fire pit out back! We had 6 adults in the cabin and there was plenty of room. We never felt like we were in each other's way and no one ever even used the loft! We couldn't figure out how to use the TV in the master bedroom, but we rarely had the televisions on, so that wasn't a major draw back. The only cautions I would give anyone are there are a lot of stairs between the parking spot and the cabin. My older mother had a little trouble with the stairs, but we managed. And the drive way is very steep and the parking spot is very small. We never tried to put both of our cars in the parking area down the driveway (we left one at the top of the hill; which is at the end of the 'road' and so we had plenty of room to leave it up top). Overall we loved the this property and plan to book another vacation here in the future."
