  • Great Place

"Loved Loved Loved this Place. Our First family vacation and the five of us had a great time. I did not want to leave but need to go back to work. My daughter's wanted us to stay longer but yet we could not. Lots of swimming and hiking to do and a ton of free hiking trails. If your going to be in the area you gotta stay here. Wayne is awesome. The cabin was what it was described to be. Clean and maintained. We already recommended it to family. Thanks again The Digorga's"

  • Absolutely Perfect!!!

"This cabin in hands down the best one I have ever stayed in. It has everything...views, rec room, comfortable sleeping, well stocked kitchen, the list goes on. We have stayed here 2 years now and it just gets better and better. There is no better cabin especially for the price. Additionally, the owner is by far the nicest person I have ever dealt with in our 10+ years of renting cabins. He is kind, accommodating, flexible...honestly I don't think I will ever rent from anyone else in Lake Lure...I am too spoiled by the upscale cabin at an economy price and by the hospitality of the owner..."

  • Lovely setup for multigenerational family

"This property was perfect for our 3-generation family of 6. The home is right on the lake, with a lakeside deck. We particularly liked the gathering spaces - sofa and chairs around the fireplace and an open area overlooking the lake. There's a large master suite as well as two smaller rooms with double beds. There is not a large dining area - there's a bar setup and a smallish bar-height table - which might have been more of a problem if we were all trying to sit down for formal meals. The owners responded quickly to our questions, even on Thanksgiving. The stairs down to the entry could be tricky for less agile guests to negotiate. The street is almost at roof level of the house. Like most properties in the area, there is a fairly long staircase down to the main entrance, and there are some uneven spots. Overall, a lovely space with pretty much everything we needed!"
