  • Happy place

"It was great to find a pet friendly place to stay. The walk to the ocean was short and easy. We were far enough away from the busyness of Duck, but close to Food Lion and Timbuck II. We found the best places to eat there. Buck's Ice Cream, Bubbie's Burgers and then farmer's market. The house was clean and neat and very well stocked. Bonus of a pool and hot tube completed our great vacation!"

  • Nice home away from home

"We enjoyed our week at Family Tides. Our families came together and shared the house. Ran in to a few maintenance issues that were resolved within 24 hours. Great pool and hot tub, but landscaping needed love. Easy access to the beach, close to stores."

  • Take me Far, Far Away!

"Our large extended family had an awesome time at this property! We had plenty of room for all our kids and their friends, lots of beds and bathrooms. The house was accurately described, had loads of extras from games and puzzles to any kitchen gadget you can think of. The house is well maintained and clean. The home has awesome views from all sides, perfect for a sunrise over the ocean and just a short walk to the beach. The house is also located well within the Corolla area, close to grocery and restaurants. We were lucky enough to have a few warm and beautiful days to hang out on the beach, even in December."

  • Amazing beach house

"Anna's beach retreat was a delight! The house was so roomy and comfortably fit our whole group. It was stocked with balls to play out in the backyard or on the beach. Along with having multiple TV's in common spaces it had TV's in some of the rooms. It had plenty of storage space in the kitchen, as well as coming with all the kitchen appliances you could ever need. The pool and hot tub were a delight, and even had a plug out there so you could plug in speakers to play music. It was great how the porch connected all three stories, so we could walk out onto the porch from our bathrooms and go straight to the pool. The top level back porch was also screened in, so it prevented bugs from getting in. The front porches were also great, with a hammock and chairs for reading. The house was stocked with a great selection of DVD's and games for a rainy day. There were multiple A/C units, so you could adjust the temperature for different parts of the house. There was a great outdoor shower as well to wash sand off before getting in the pool. Sharon was so kind, attentive and quick to pick up my calls about anything. Lastly, it had what is paramount to every good beach house, a super short walk to the beach. It was great staying here and we had everything we needed for an awesome week. I would recommend Anna's Beach Retreat to anyone that asked! And the owners are amazing!!!!"
