  • Awesome (but let's try not to spread-the-word too far!)

"This is the very best VRBO/HomeAway rental I've ever had. Ever. And the only reason to "not spread-the-word too far" is my worry that, when in need of peace-and-quiet - or even a lively vacation with close family or friends - this wonderful place will have long-been booked. Glorious screened-in porch looking down at Mayo Lake (which was quiet but not desolate, now that the summer season is coming to its end). Good kitchen (if one is determined to cook - on vacation!). Great living spaces to visit with fellow vacationers - and good spaces to retreat from them, too. Cabin ultra-clean upon arrival, and easy to keep organized while there. Close to "convenience stores" for urgent items, and not at all far from grocery stores and small-town restaurants. Would I go back? How soon is tomorrow?!"

  • Great house for a golf weekend

"We stayed here with a full extended family - grandparents, kids and grandchildren. The house has a great layout, great amenities and is well equipped. It was a great house for our family golf weekend and I would absolutely rent it again if coming back with a group of guys for a golf weekend. Highly recommend."

  • Labor Day Weekend Getaway

"This property has a beautiful view and a great location. They are in the process of making upgrades which will improve the overall appearance. The upstairs is great and the porch magnificent! My husband and I, our 2 kids and their friends had a blast boating and playing games! It was perfect for us!"

  • Amazing Cottage from the Inside Out!

"The Lily Pad Cottage is just stunning on the inside as it is on the outside. The interior is colorful and full of life, it just gives off this vibrant vibe. The master bedroom has the best views ever, you’d wake up pull the curtain and you have this amazing view of the dock, the trees, the shoreline and the blue Heron that paid us a visit almost every day and stood gracefully on one leg in the morning mist! The little windows with the cute wooden shutters gave a nice touch to all the rooms and views of the fresh green lawn too. There is a room with a Hawaiian theme perfectly decorated, I don’t have kids yet, but I’m sure that this room would be every girl’s dream to stay in! We’re into fishing so we spent most of our time on the spacious comfortable dock that’s only a few feet away from the deck through a perfectly paved pathway with a very gentle slope. For those who like boating, this is the boaters heaven. We couldn’t fish during the day from all the boating with cheering teenagers and proud parents teaching their kids to water ski. It was fun to watch though! Then when it would get dark, it’s just one catfish after the other! We lost count! and tons of sunfish too before dark. Tom is the best to deal with, he was always accessible and helpful and was genuinely interested in making sure that everything was perfect for us during our stay. And he did make everything perfect! We’d come back to the Lily Pad and enjoy this beautiful experience again."
