  • Great Townhouse centrally located for an amazing price for 4!

"Perfect home base for our trip to NC to look at venues for our daughters wedding. The townhouse is located in a quite neighborhood off the beaten path. It is centrally located between Hendersonville and Asheville. You have a short drive to either. The Pisgah Nat forest is just to the west and Chimney Rock to the east, 45 min drive either way. We had time to explore the area during the day, come home and cook out on the gas grill and relax in the evening on the comfy couches. The place is well kept, clean and has all amenities you need! Love the fact we could do our laundry our last night there and take home a suitcase filled with clean clothes! It is cozy and our family of 4 filled it up with a little elbow room to spare. Very charming! Highly recommend and will definitely be back."

  • Highly recommended cabin!

"My friends and I stayed in this log cabin for three nights, and there were a total of 4 individuals in our group!! One couple shared the bedroom/bath upstairs, and the other shared the bedroom/bath downstairs....very convenient and still private for one other. I can't express how satisfied we were with our stay. The cabin is fully equipped with kitchen supplies and furniture, including a hot tub! It is located in a very convenient location, and is a short drive from the local grocery, Biltmore, and even downtown Asheville. Driving to and from our main destinations was quick and easy...definitely not a hassle. The only recommendation I would make to the owners is to adjust the hot water heater. Sharing two bathrooms among 4 people can become cumbersome when you lose hot water pretty quickly! Other than that, our stay was extremely enjoyable. The cabin itself is quaint, cozy, and simply charming. Lastly, you also get a few free passes to the Biltmore and white water rafting (which we used) if you book this cabin....just another lovely perk! Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did."

  • Family Reunion

"This was our second time to rent Whipporwill at Christmas time! Thank you for letting us rent your beautiful home again! We love the kitchen with the big windows and room for the entire family to cook, eat, and have fun together in a huge welcoming space with a gas fireplace. We also enjoyed the wood burning fireplace in the living room each night! Our 4-year-old granddaughter had fun discovering toys and fun spaces to play! Thank you Jim and Patrick for making us feel so welcome!"
