  • Mountain High

"We had a marvelous week at Streamside House. The house provided me and my family a beautiful yet rustic and comfortable place to enjoy the fantastic surrounding mountains. The nearby stream while not conducive to fishing was a real joy for our grandkids to play in and around. We also greatly enjoyed the morning and evening fires in your beautiful stone fireplaces. Another huge plus for Streamside House is its location. We could be in Brevard in minutes to enjoy their many shops and restaurants and just a little further down the road is the Davidson River for trout fishing, Asheville, Hendersonville, the Blue Ridge Parkway...and much more. Bottom line, you can do as much or as little as you like. We loved our time there. Thanks! One more thing. Patches became a special part of our stay."

  • Quaint older Brevard cottage

"Tracey was an angel - evacuated from the coast with our dog due to Hurricane Mathew, Tracey worked with us on the availability of her property, allowing us to extend day to day while we processed the multiple conflicting information sources back home. The house is located in a quiet friendly neighborhood, close to down town barely 5 minute level walk. Definitely an older cottage, but clean and comfortable."

  • Wonderful Getaway

"The property is well maintained and beautiful. Our children worked together to fish, hike and play. We did not use the t.v. It was the relaxing getaway our family needed! House is perfectly stocked and very comfortable."

  • Even better than expected!!!!

"Not sure what I can say that hasn't already been said, but this cabin/location/setting is simply an amazing place to visit. The cabin itself truly feels like a home and not a simple vacation rental. Attention to detail and quality of the furnishings is top notch. Listening to the constant rushing of the stream waters while relaxing in front of the fireplace on the deck was pure heaven. The cabin is already equipped with many kitchen amenities such as paper towels, spices, aluminum foil etc, so you might want to take stock of what is already there before making a trip to the store. We spent our mornings and early afternoons hiking/exploring and then I would build a fire for the Mrs. so she could cozy up with a book while I fished for trout in the stream. Fishing was great! It is delayed harvest right now, though. We also went on the waterfall tour with Craig. We highly recommend it. He took us to 8 different falls and we never saw another person. They weren't as majestic as the huge falls at Dupont State Park (also highly recommended), but they were all still beautiful. This is truly amazing country for those who enjoy the outdoors. Thanks Jim!! We cant wait to come back!!!!"
