  • Great place in town

"The house worked great for our family of four. King bed is key! Very nicely redone comfortable house, walk to town, well set up kitchen, clean and pleasant. Owner is responsive and helpful. Hope to stay again next time."

  • Excellent Location - Very Comfortable

"We come up from Charleston to bike and hike in Dupont Forest often during the summer. This location off of Reasonover Road was perfect. We biked during the day, swam in Fawn Lake in the afternoon, cooked out on the grill and relaxed in hot tub in the evenings. The Nuthouse is so nice with the large front porch and very comfortable furnishings. Three times during the weekend we saw wild turkeys along the neighborhood road, very exciting. This place is perfect for your mountain getaway. The owner is a Friend of Dupont and we learned so much about Dupont State Forest from literature inside, that we have decided to buy a place nearby. It's where we want to be. Thanks Helen for letting us stay with you."

  • Very nice house with a beautiful view

"We had a great stay at this house! Every amenity we could need was there and Sharon was extremely hospitable. I would definitely recommend staying in the house if your desire is to get away from the city and rest in quiet."

  • Great get-a-way cabin!

"My wife and I stayed at Brennan's cabin during the last week of October and found it to be perfect for everything we wanted to do and everywhere we wanted to go. The location is very convenient to downtown Brevard, the Pisgah, and the Parkway. It's far enough off 64 that you don't hear any traffic but close enough that you're not driving on miles of twisting roads to get there. The kitchen was well stocked for the two of us (though minus a microwave). We really appreciated the wood pile and enjoyed the fireplace on the cooler nights. We love Brevard and will book this cabin again for our return trip next summer."
