  • Excellant experience

"Adele's Retreat is a wonderful place to stay while visiting Brevard, N.C. Brooke has thought of "everything"! The location is great for doing just about anything in the area. We especially enjoyed watching the birds at the backyard bird feeder. Our "furry" kids enjoyed the lovely fenced yard and we enjoyed chatting with the neighbors. Thanks again, Brooke."

  • Great Getaway!

"My husband and I stayed at Summer Haven for our 10 year anniversary trip to Brevard. We loved the proximity to DuPont State Forest and Pisgah National Forest. It was so nice to ride our mountain bikes and then have a very short drive back to the cabin to shower and clean up. The cabin was very clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The owner checked in with us and made sure we were able to get in the cabin and asked if we needed anything upon our arrival. The cabin is very spacious but not too big and it was tucked away in the woods but was a very short distance from Hwy 276. It was very easy to get to the cabin unlike some other cabins I've stayed at in the mountains were I was worried my SUV might not make it up the hill to the cabin! One night we ate at Fall's Landing in Brevard which I would highly recommend and then decided to try out Brevard Brewing across the street. We also visited Sycamore Cycles and they were very friendly and helped my husband repair his bike. The Hub is also a great bike shop/outdoor store that has the Pisgah Tavern in with it that serves beer and it is at the entrance to Pisgah National Forest. Brevard is the perfect location because it is about an hour drive to Asheville and a short distance to Hendersonville. The last night of our stay we were exhausted from two days of mountain biking so we decided to order food from Cedar Mountain Café, which is about a 1/2 mile from the cabin. The food was phenomenal and it was so nice to be able to pick up good quality food and bring it back to the cabin. We would definitely recommend staying at Summer Haven and next time we plan to bring our son and do some hiking in the area."

  • Mountain High

"We had a marvelous week at Streamside House. The house provided me and my family a beautiful yet rustic and comfortable place to enjoy the fantastic surrounding mountains. The nearby stream while not conducive to fishing was a real joy for our grandkids to play in and around. We also greatly enjoyed the morning and evening fires in your beautiful stone fireplaces. Another huge plus for Streamside House is its location. We could be in Brevard in minutes to enjoy their many shops and restaurants and just a little further down the road is the Davidson River for trout fishing, Asheville, Hendersonville, the Blue Ridge Parkway...and much more. Bottom line, you can do as much or as little as you like. We loved our time there. Thanks! One more thing. Patches became a special part of our stay."

  • The property was every bit as it was described, and more. Very enjoyable!

"We had a group of family and friends staying in town for a wedding. The Cabin in the Trees gave us a gathering spot. We hosted a cook out with future in laws. It made it much more relaxing than a restaurant. We had space to have quiet time, to gather, to laugh, remember days gone by, and make many new memories. We shared morning coffee, made quick plans, and a relaxing place to come to at the end of each busy day! The views were spectacular! Thank you for having such a cozy spot to call "home" for a few days! Highly recommend! Great People to work with. Very well maintained! There are a lot of things to do- something for everybody! Very quiet, very relaxing! CMS 8/31/2016-9/4/2016"
