  • This is a beautiful, secluded cabin with lots of wild life!

"If you are looking to hide away... This is the perfect spot! Grill some steaks and roast marshmallows for s'mores on the fire pit. Have coffee on the back porch the next morning. The cabin is full of unique decor that will have you oohing and ahing. It's about 15 minutes from the wonderful dining and shopping of Brevard."

  • Well appointed and close to everything!

"We were in Brevard for a wedding this past weekend and we chose this house due to it's proximity to downtown and the sleeping arrangements. We were a group of 2 couples and a few singles. This house was PERFECT for our group! The recently remodeled kitchen (which left me with kitchen envy) has everything you need to cook for a group and if cooking isn't your thing, you can walk to so many wonderful restaurants located in downtown Brevard. Not only was the kitchen well appointed, the whole house had plenty of towels, blankets, sheets, everything we needed! The neighborhood was quaint and quiet, the location, perfect. It's an easy drive to I-26 which takes you into Asheville as well. Susan was friendly and quick to respond with all questions as well. Next time we find ourselves in Brevard, we will definitely want to stay here again! Thank you Susan, for sharing your home with us!"

  • We had a lovely stay

"My husband and I stayed at Larry's cabin this past December while meeting family for a celebration. It was such a cozy and beautiful place to stay! They were able to accommodate our little dog for which we were quite grateful. The home is very comfortable and spacious. The views are beautiful as well. I highly recommend having GPS in the area as our phones ceased working prior to arrival. But that is the beauty of this area ... it feels remote but is not too far from the city. Larry was a fantastic host--very responsive to our questions and very helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay and just wish it could have been longer!"

  • Quaint & Cozy!

"We arrived in the darkness of the night and were greeted by the owner Mrs. Whitaker. She invited us in to her Quaint, Cozy, Beautiful little cabin and showed us around. She showed us the wood she had made available to us for the stone fireplace, where to put the used ashes from the fireplace, she gave us the instructions of where the garbage goes...etc..... she was very detail oriented, gave us information for the surrounding hikes (she also had many informative books on specific hikes and waterfalls). The cabin was decorated beautifully, kitchen was stocked with all the necessities, the beds were comfortable, and everything was very clean! After a day of hiking to waterfalls we relaxed on the soft, comfortable couch, listening to the crackling sound of the fire, while sipping on our delicious Bourbon Barrel Aged Beers we got from Oskar Blues Brewery (located not to far away from the cabin.) Thank you Mrs. Whitaker for providing such a comfortable, beautiful & relaxing oasis!"
