  • Absolutely Stunning!

"I rented the home ( upper and lower half) for a Ladies get away and they loved the house. The upper part of the home was very welcoming and comfortable. Guests can sit at the dining table and have conversation with guests in the living room. The beds were extremely comfortable and all had easy access to the bathroom. The lower half was very open and beautiful. The bedroom in the lower half is VERY spacious with a large bathroom! Overall, we were very satisfied."

  • Solitude is truly the perfect name for this cabin.

"On Aug 22, 2016, Terri, We had such a good time. Hope you found everything ok. Loved the little church across from us. Felt humbled thinking about how humble this little community had to be. Went over to the church Sunday morning. Such a blessing. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. The cabin was everything you said it was. Easy to find. Loved sitting on the porch reading. So peaceful. Took a short walk on the road behind the church and saw some bear tracks. That was exciting. God Bless and look forward to visiting again Shirley Floyd Galivants Ferry, SC"

  • Awesome grandkids getaway

"We were watching our three grandsons 8, 6 and 3 for five days and looking for a fun place take them and this property was perfect. We were intrigued by having some animals for the kids to see and what a special treat. Brian took us to meet the Sicilian Donkeys and Darwin the Camel the first day there and what a great experience. We took the kids to feed them both a couple of times and they could not stop talking about it. Ok grandma and grandpa liked getting to feed the animals too. They also had five dogs that were great especially Kevin a 100 pound labradoodle who is a big ole fun guy. He came up to visit us at the house one day and we loved playing with him. The house itself was great with all you could need for a great stay. We cooked several meals there and enjoyed them on the screened porch. The property is very nice and as advertised. We used Trip Advisor to find some nice places to eat of where there a lot in the area. We enjoyed the games there to play and there were lots of movies to watch but we stayed so busy we didn't even turn on the TV. We filled the bird feeder and suet cage and enjoyed seeing so many birds coming to the feeders each day. The area itself was perfect for the kids as well. Only a few minutes from Ashville we took in the Fun Depot which was a great place with go carts, video games, indoor mini-golf, bumper cars etc. all around a fun place as well as the Ashville Nature Center which was very nice and went to the movies one day, and a day trip to Maggie Valley for the Wheels Through Time Museum and some gem mining. There were so many more things to do a short drive from the house including the Biltmore House which we didn't go this visit. There is a very nice park just minutes down the road with walking trails, frisbee golf and a nice playground which made for some nice visits also (great place for Pokemon Go by the way). Could not be a nicer place to stay. It would make a great stay kids or not but for the grand kids it make a special experience. The farm house made for a wonderful vacation."

  • Very nice home in a very nice area!

"This home is very well equipped, comfortable & cozy. The rooms are large. The kitchen is huge with every appliance, cookware & dinnerware we needed. We planned to do a lot of outdoor activities and chose this house to its proximity to the Pisgah National forest, the Duoint state forest & reasonably close to Asheville. The home is located in a beautiful area with many other beautiful homes and plenty of wild life. It's very serene. We had breakfast on the screened in porch and had the pleasure of seeing deer run through the yard. The owners were also very accommodating and were attentive to our satisfaction. We'll be back!"
