"Me and my fiance booked this cabin and stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday with his mom and dad and our 3 dogs. OH MY! The pictures so do not do this property justice! What a cute well thought out spot! There is a wood chopping area, so many trails to hike and walk that are right on the property! If you walk down the stone pathway the trail takes you to a beautiful sitting area farther down thats not visible from the house, the trail s right out the front door! It over looks a beautiful waterfall that run into a nice sized creek that all of our dogs went nuts over. They had so much fun splashing around and sniffing everything. We saw so many deer and turkeys just from sitting on the upper deck in the morning drinking coffee. And at night we cuddled inside with a fire and some wine, and a few nights we took that fire and fun outside to the outdoor fire pit! We will defiantly be returning, My mother in law was so incredibly happy with how beautiful and perfect everything was. And dont worry there is so much near by to do! Restaurants, pubs, shopping, hiking, canoeing, site seeing amazing waterfalls and mountains etc. And Mary is super sweet and thoughtful, sending property maps, internet/ lock codes, and she had plenty of firewood and duraflame blocks waiting on us :) She was on top of it all!"

  • Wonderful Mountain House

"Our family of 5 needed a break from the SC heat and we were lucky enough to find this house. It is not too far from the Highlands but far enough away to feel secluded. Highland Gap is a wonderful subdivision and all you need to do is walk out of the front door and you are walking in the woods. We walked every day in the sub division. The house has a wonderful porch and a very nice kitchen and master bedroom. My daughters shared the upstairs bedroom and my son slept in the front den's fold out bed."

  • Fantastic!

"My wife and I spent our anniversary here and it was more than expected! A quick five minute walk had us in the heart of downtown. Plenty of dining and entertainment options all around this home. The house itself had a VERY comfortable bed and was much bigger than expected! We had a great time here and will be staying again!"
