  • Most beautiful cove on the Oregon coast

"Just returned from our 2nd stay at The Cove. Dennis is a pleasure to meet. All three of his homes are lovely We think this home is so special. The views are spectacular! Dennis has thought of your every need. Very tasteful decor and so many personal touches in each room. We stayed 6 nights this time. Became so settled in. Sad to leave. Looking forward to our next visit."

  • We didn't want to leave!

"My husband and I had the most amazing week at Gull House. Where to start? The orange-pinks of spectacular sunsets from the deck; the sound of the surf through the windows at night; the misty view of the ocean in the mornings. The house was so very comfortable and cozy. And the hot tub!!! Oh my, the hot tub, filled with fresh water for our visit, was just magic. (It wasn't fully heated up when we arrived, but a quick call to the owner confirmed it was because they'd changed the water that day, and also resulted in a host of extremely helpful tips for restaurants and whale watching - THANK YOU for being so responsive!) We were in the hot tub every morning AND every night. Love love love. :-) The kitchen is well-appointed, with all the dishes and pots and pans we could have wished for. There were odds and ends of cooking oil, spices, and a selection of teas, too. We felt so very welcomed! Gull House is definitely on our list of places we'll return to. We already miss it! Thanks to the owners for sharing this magical place."

  • Best of both worlds - house in the woods and a gorgeous beach!

"We loved staying at the Ravenscreek house. It felt homey and was well stocked with everything we needed. The property was very secluded and literally two to three minutes from a beautiful beach. We loved the open floor plan. My favorite thing about the house was all the windows. Even the window in the bathroom over the sink. Normally, you'd just be looking in a mirror, but instead you got to look out into the beautiful backyard and watch the birds or even a little rabbit that came into the yard in the mornings. The property is secluded enough that only the bedrooms had curtains. My kids felt right at home and enjoyed just hanging out and watching movies when we weren't sight seeing. They loved the ping pong tables in the back building! There was a great selection of games, puzzles, and books. We would definitely recommend this home to our friends and relatives. Seal Rock is a great location set between Newport and Waldport. We were close to restaurants and other amenities without being in the middle of a town. There are a ton of beaches to explore, the Oregon Aquarium, lighthouses and much more. We didn't want to go home!"

"We enjoyed our stay at this property. Secluded, yet close to Waldport and Newport. I grew up in this area so have a lot of background here. Everything was clean and nice. The house is older, yet well maintained. The Path to the beach is a adventure and not for those unable to climb a ladder. I would recommend this location to those interested in a peaceful quiet retreat."
