  • Spacious home with a view

"We have friends in the area and wanted to be close by. Lucky for us this beautiful and affordable home happened to be the closest rental in the area. The home is clean and spacious. I think it actually seemed larger in person. It has recently been repainted and has a new deck upstairs for dining. The view is lovely. We were lucky enough to have whale watching right out the window! The trail to the beach is a little bit of a challenge but our group was all ages, from toddler to grandparents, and we managed just fine. Many homes in the area do not have easy access to the beach so this is a plus. I looked at quite a few properties and this one seemed very reasonably priced, especially if you have a group and would require more than one hotel room . The owners responded promptly and were very easy to work with."

  • Amazing!!!!

"Tucked away in Seal Rock, Oregon,we discovered a small piece of paradise. Tucked back into a small alcove of trees, you get an immediate sense of peaceful serenity. The decor ranges from whimsical to modern...all coming together beautifully. It was nice not to have to live out of a suitcase or decide which restaurant we wanted to go to for any of meals. There were a couple days we chose to just stay in and relax, other days we sightseeing. The beauty of the surrounding area is amazing. From the rolling farmlands, quiet beauty of the foothills, to witnessing the awesome splendor and power of the ocean. We were also lucky enough to witness the dignity and majesty of a mated pair of bald eagles while at the Yaquina Bay Lighthouse. There are many little treasures to find. One of personal favorites was The Chocolate Frog just down the road in Waldport. The owners were amazing and very friendly. We've had a great time this week and have only one regret. We really wish we could have stayed longer. However, plans are already in the making for next year to return to this beautiful home and the slice of paradise it's tucked away in."

"Private, clean, perfect for the family. Spent 6 nights here and loved every minute. Trails to explore, easy walk to the beach where you are pretty much have it all to yourself. Cabin next door hardly notice other than our pups talking to one another in dog language twice in one week! A-Frame is clean, and has anything you would need to prepare a meal for your family. The bathroom is a bit small, and the shower is definetly for folks of smaller stature, but everything in working order. The kids and I left Daddy and Sugar, and drove south about 2 hours to Bandon and visited West Coast Safari Park where you walk thru a small zoo with hands on experiences with some of it's tenants. We got to pet a bengal tiger cub, an adorable fox named "Todd", a baby linx, and fed the free roaming deer, llamas and goats. I went there YEARS ago when I was about 14, back then it was called "Deer Park". We loved that we could take our senior chocolate lab, Sugar, too. She mainly hung out with my husband, who was reading and enjoying the deck 80% of the week. She however, was not a fan of the spiral staircase and chose to sleep on her own bed from home downstairs. Fresh fish from the South Beach Fish market, perfect! We'l love to see a larger grill next time? Small Weber did the job, just took longer to grill for 6 of us. Couldn't tell you if the TV works? We NEVER turned it on! Wi-Fi was totally fine! We LOVE this property and it's history. I've shared this with a few co-workers and friends who were impressed by our vacation photos! Thanks Abby, Zoe, and Mike for being great to work with! We are "The Talley Fly Family" from Pocatello, Idaho, and we'll be back!! ♥"

  • Just right

"This is a home that is just right for a family retreat. It is not for a big group event but a close family that enjoys spending time together. The location is perfect with my favorite beach just a few steps away. This is your opportunity for a great family beach get away."
