  • Beautiful weekend getaway

"We spent two nights here for our 'babymoon' and loved it. Especially loved the proximity to the beach and the Scandinavian-beachy-mid-century decor. We were really bummed that the record player was broken as it was a selling point for us - so many awesome records and no way to listen."

  • Beautiful Secluded Home

"The home is absolutely gorgeous and in a beautiful setting! The master bedroom bed is super comfy and the amenities all around are lovely. While we were there most of the surrounding homes seemed to be empty so very little traffic and except for the crash of the ocean supremely quiet. The beach was deserted most of the time as well which we just loved. I will agree with other reviewers that while the kitchen is gorgeous it is definitely not set up for any kind of serious cooking. Although the appliances are fabulous the cooking utensils, pots and pans etc were fairly light. I was very glad I brought my own well seasoned cast iron pan, a few additional cooking utensils and chef's knife. I wish I had brought a stable cutting board. The one there is pretty but not very useful. However I am a fairly prolific home cook and we had more than half of our meals there. So if cooking big meals isn't important than the kitchen is adequately stocked for basic needs. A word of caution regarding the beach. If you aren't able to get around well the beach would be fairly inaccessible to you. It's gorgeous and I loved it but there is a steep embankment of fist-sized and bigger round stones you have to get down to get to sand. If you have balance or strength issues you could take a tumble pretty easily. Also the sand is only accessible for the hour or two on either side of low tide unless you walk for a ways on said stones down the beach. Again, this didn't bother us at all but could be a problem for some. The house was extremely clean and well presented. I loved that it isn't full of clutter from the owners as many homes we've stayed in have been. The closets were all empty and able to be used as well as the drawers in the bathrooms and many in the kitchen."

  • Best place on earth!!!!

"I come here on a regular basis!!! I LOVE it!!! The views are priceless! the house is super clean, plenty of room, kitchen fully stocked, everything you would ever need, appliances, plenty of dishes, really great pots and pans and awesome knives, LARGE deck!! Sarah is so helpful and kind! Every time I walk in the door I feel like I am home. THEN I open the blinds the view takes my breath away. There are windows every place you look. Not just 180 degree views, but more like 220!! I almost don't want to write a review, I want it to be my hidden treasure. But I would be selfish to keep it to myself!!!! It is so hard to leave."
