  • Cannon Beach House

"This home has a great location! The beach is a straight shot from the house. You can see the beach out the front windows. The house has a fireplace for a warm cozy feel. The house is cute and modern. One thing we were so happy about was the carport. It was pooring rain when we arrived and we were not looking forward to getting soaked while bringing in our luggage. But when we pulled up and saw the covered carport we were really excited! The house is also about a minute drive from a very nice grocery store and short drive to all the shops and restaurants. Overall it was a great experience."

  • Hidden Gem

"We recently stayed at the Haystack Cottage for a week (June 2016) and had the most amazing time. Our group consisted of two couples, and the cottage, location, and layout was just perfect for us. This is a hidden gem, and although the reviews are glowing, they STILL do not do it justice!! The cottage is literally one house back from the beach, and a couple of blocks from the township of Cannon Beach. The cottage was immaculately clean, and had everything we could possibly need. The highlights for us were (apart from the epic location and cute house), the large living space - enough couches for 4 people to each have their own space to snooze and read, and the sunny deck and grass area - perfect for more snoozing and reading. Cannon Beach itself is just stunning, and we were lucky enough to be there for the annual sand castle competition. If we are ever back on the Oregon coast, Cannon Beach and the Haystack Cabin will be first on our list. Thank you for a truly wonderful holiday in your special place."

  • Quiet hide-away in heaven!

"This cottage is accurately represented w/the site's photos. The cottage is comfortable, with a well stocked kitchen and bathroom. The deck overlooking a natural area is a wonderful, restful place to relax, read a book and just absorb nature. Cindy met us as we arrived, and answered our questions, and even offered lattice panels to help secure the deck, so that our pups could come and go outside without wandering off. The cottage, though very comfortable, is not out of house beautiful, however - furnishings are on the funky side - rather adds to its uniqueness. It was clean and well maintained. We did truly miss TV (no AM news!) and Internet - of course, one can always walk the 10 minutes to town and use public Internet. All in all, staying here was a plus, and we would certainly consider coming back to the same place. Cannon Beach is a wonderful, wonderful place to visit - don't miss Evo (make reservations long in advance); the shops are terrific (if you like fabrics, don't miss Center Diamond), and be sure that you spend time at Indian Beach in Ecola state park!!!"
