  • house was nice, listing was accurate, property was clean. I recommend this rental.

"It was a very great vacay, my family and I had the best time. House to the beach walk a minute, you can seriously do everything walking, store restaurant, shopping and train ride. It was very cool. John the owner guy, was very nice he talked on the phone with us and helped us to find many things to do. Like fishing, eating and things to see. He was generous and very accommodating. I would stay there again. The local people that live there year round were very nice and friendly. I felt safe in the neighborhood, I walked early by myself and didn't feel worried. I would highly recommend this place for a vacation. thanks john. it was the best. I want to go back."

  • Perfect Beach Get-Away!

"What a great week of relaxation, sunshine, beach fun, great food, and family time! The pictures, description, and information provided about the house and surroundings were spot on. It was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. We definitely enjoyed several of the restaurants suggested by the owner; great dinner at the Blackbird, hamburgers at the Wave, and pizza at Marzano's all in Manzanita. We spent the better part of morning walking in the quaint town of Manzanita, browsing in the shops, trying the handmade sweets at Manzanita Sweets, eventally making our way to lunch at The Wave. We had started off thinking we'd enjoy a burger at the Sand Dune Pub but were surprised it's not for families with kids, no minors. They were very gracious in recommending The Wave and the burgers did not disappoint. In Cannon Beach, we enjoyed dinner at the Irish Table and don't miss the amazing coffee at the Sleepy Monk Coffee Roasters. We ate plenty of meals at the house with it's fully equipped kitchen (including a tea pot which I used daily). We shopped at both Fresh Foods and The Little Apple in Manzanita, easily finding everything we needed for both gourmet and basic meals. Manzanita Golf Course was also great fun. Its nine holes provided some challenges and also great for beginners. Very reasonable greens fees. Our kids raved about the surfing, thanks to the wetsuits and boards from Cleanline Surf in Cannon Beach. Tom, at Cleanline Surf, recommended a great location for beginners to surf, Short Sands Beach, close by. Parents and children alike loved the bonfire on the beach. Clams in foil over the coals were a huge hit before roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. Our kids were begging to stay longer and we will definitely return again! Thanks for sharing a little bit of your beach heaven!"

  • Outstanding vacation rental!

"This place is amazing. Awesome for big groups. We had eight families together in Seaside for a basketball tournament and everyone had a great experience. Used both houses together. Tons of room for everyone to gather in common areas and have their own personal space as well. Views of the ocean are simply mesmerizing. Great location on the beach and also close to town. Ron and Marcy were an absolute pleasure to work with and helped make the whole stay that much more enjoyable. Highly recommend. We will definitely rent again if we're ever back in Seaside!"

  • Amazing memories every time

"Let me start by saying that for the last 6 years my friend and I have been coming to the Oregon coast we have stayed 5 of those times at one of the Homes on Manzanita Beach owned by Kim. I was so impressed from the large amount of great reviews on her homes that it I knew we couldn't go wrong by staying there and we were not disappointed! Due to my friend having cancer we stayed at the Beulah Reed Rd home. It is right on the ocean with very easy beach access, great fire pit, huge deck made for grabbing a blanket (which there are plenty of nice soft blankets at the home) and watching the ocean for hours. if you are one to cook at the house then there is a gas grill ready to go and a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare a meal and dine at the table watching the waves. There is more then enough towels, lines and blankets provided and I love the pillows and beds! The house is set up so that you feel like you have your own space and your own bathroom. There is a cozy living area with a very large couch and several comfy chairs to sit and watch the waves or you can build a fire in the fireplace. The home sits at the end of a road and therefore it makes the beach rather secluded and private. She has stocked the home with a little library and also has DVD player and Wi-Fi. We have hiked on many of the trails in the area and walked into town for some shopping or dinner. Love the restaurant's in town or our all time favorite is the Rising Star in Wheeler- which is just down the road, Just make sure you make a reservation since it gets full quick! We were lucky enough to see the very large Historic Reed Rd home and WOW...the decorating and amenities are fantastic!! I am so looking forward to the newest home they are currently working on and I have no doubt that I will be VERY HAPPY with it also! If you have any questions feel free to send me a message--I will be very honest and happy to answer your questions! and no....I do not work for Kim..I am just the type of person who likes to tell others about good things to prevent a unhappy vacation! See we travel from Indiana and its important to make lasting great memories and that we have done!"
