  • Magical Woodland Home

"Margie and David were excellent hosts. Margie is meticulous with details and careful to provide for her guests the best experience. David is helpful and kind. The place was clean and nicely decorated. We had everything we needed. My husband and I stayed in their apartment for twenty-one days. Being surrounding by tall green trees, birds and butterflies and listening to the late night train whistle was just the experience we wanted to have. At the same time, to be snuggling with Alexis, their sweet golden retriever made it my kind of place. Several times, we stayed the entire day at the property just enjoying the sounds of the water and looking at the sun sparkling on the green leaves. Even I took the time to begin a lovely relaxing activity which traveled with me to Chile: coloring books. Every time I color in my book I think about that place nestled in the woods where I would love to come back and stay forever. In my memories I bring the place to my eyes and I hear Alexis barking softly. Now, I feel I have a home in Portland where in spite of many visits I never felt before. ¡Gracias! We will be back."

  • Great basecamp for a group.

"We had an excellent stay at this house for an extended weekend. Everything you need to host a fun gathering is at this house. A nice kitchen with appliances, wonderful table for everyone to sit down at and then retire to the back yard for some hot tubbing, grilling, or sitting by the fire under some dim party lights. Everything is labeled well, directions and rules are presented well. The house setup is unique. Two bedrooms upstairs, One and a half on the first floor, and one kids room in the basement with bunk beds. There are also a couple of couches which make for a good place to sleep as well. The game room downstairs is neat. We didn't really use it, but if you have kids.. they can easily rule the basement and be content for hours on end. The outdoor cook station in the back yard is very nice and there is even a front deck with another grill. There are some good places to eat nearby and roads that go directly from Oregon City out to the Mt Hood area. We took one afternoon and went to McIver State Park. Beautiful with exceptional fly fishing. We ate Sushi at Sushi Kata Japanese Restaurant. Exceptional food and did not break the bank. I contacted Lisa a few times and she was quick to respond and very helpful. I would certainly recommend this location to anyone."

  • Great Unit - Great Location

"Great experience - very convenient process of getting into the unit and walking distance to the awesome 23rd Ave shops and restaurants. Very comfortable furniture and everything was in great condition - nice decor. Fireplace looked great - would have been great to have wood available. Parking on the street was not a problem - usually a vacant spot nearby. Definitely would recommend this place."

  • Kid friendly, well maintained home!!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at your home! We came with two 2 year olds and a four year old. They enjoyed all of the toys and especially enjoyed exploring the back yard."
