  • Immaculate, Interesting and Intimate Rental!

"I had been looking at this property on VRBO for several years, thinking how quaint it looked. I'm so happy we decided to spend time there! What a fabulous renovation the owners have performed! This was a charming, immaculate and interesting place to stay. It truly has everything you could need including modern kitchen and laundry. We were here in August but I bet anytime of year would be lovely. The owners were very responsive in answering our questions (how to work the air conditioning). The house was almost like staying in a museum with various items used in one room schoolhouses and farms, along with well researched written explanations. The Tiverton area is just lovely. Quiet and quaint but close enough to Newport attractions as well as beaches. The Boat House in Riverton was a wonderful waterside restaurant with locally sourced produce and seafood delivered daily which I highly recommend. We also visited Blithewold Mansion and Gardens which was very nice. Overall very nice vacation and top notch rental property."

  • Great property with an amazing common space. Perfect for a beach getaway

"Overall, the property is wonderful and has a lot of cool features that make it a great place to stay. The owners were very responsive and helpful. The beach is a short drive away and the porch is great for hanging out. I would stay again!"

  • It was what we expected from the description on VRBO

"The place was perfect for our family of four. There was a pick-and-play available for our toddler to use, which was very helpful, considering we flew in and could not bring stuff like that with us. There was also a toddler seat for the table and tons of toys that helped entertain our kids. The yard was nice too. The location of the house is conveniently located close to Rt. 1 and the beach. Minor complaints: 1) One of the queen sized beds had an awful matress. 2) I couldn't get the tub to hold water for my kid's baths, so they had to shower (which they hate). Overall a great spot for families. Tish was very responsive to all of my inquiries and questions."

  • Beautiful and relaxing...

"First of all, working with the owner, Andrew, was a pleasure. Always upfront in his expectations of me, and the wonderful features of his home. What a beautiful and relaxing view of the Sakonnet Bay. Coffee and breakfast on the patio each morning with that wonderful view was the start to each and every invigorating day we stayed there. All of the amenities described in the posting were as advertised... beds were very comfortable, kitchen and living areas were relaxing and updated. Beautiful flowers and gardens surround the home and make it a very picturesque home. The public beaches were easily accessible with a short walk or drive, and a drive in to Newport itself was 10-15 minutes. Thanks Andrew for a great 4th of July week! We had a blast and a much needed re-charging of batteries."
