  • Great value for the price!

"If you're looking for a 'get away from everyone and everything' property then this is the place to escape to. It's situated in a quiet gated community at the end of an inlet on Lake Hartwell. The property is perched high above the lake surrounded by trees, so nice and private. There is a steep path leading to and from the lake but my inlaws, who are in their 70s, managed to climb it each time with no trouble. We had 8 adults and our border collie staying and there were ample space for us all without feeling on top of each other. The house was clean and well stocked with kitchen utensils. Plenty of tables and chairs for us all to sit outside to eat. Nearest grocery store is about a 20 minute drive away (Ingles in West Anderson, offering great customer service!). If you don't fancy cooking, we highly recommend J Peters in Anderson (30 minuete drive) awesome food and service. All in all a fab week in a great place and location, even our dog loved it, spending most of his time swimming with us in the lake."

  • EXCELLENT Property just as described

"Immaculate property. Beautiful Dock two story. We rented a boat from the Harbor Light Marina who were very nice, we had originally planned on bringing it back to the home, they allow you to do that, but Hurricane Matthew did some damage to our house in Florida and we had to return home a day earlier. The house has high ceiling and very comfortable king beds. There is a half bath near the living area making it very convenient , the bedrooms have their own bathrooms. The large Master has a very HUGE SHOWER WITH TWO SHOWER HEADS a very nice relaxing shower. We would definatley return to this home in the future for vacation."

  • Memorial Day Memories

"Four generations of family gathered for the long weekend. The house met all of our needs, with room to be together, or find a quiet place to read or nap. The lake access is wonderful. A very gentle slope to the shore and dock. Lots of sun if you want it, and large shade trees if that is your desire. The little kids loved being able to wade into the sandy bottom, or play at waters edge with the provided beach toys. We had one adult and her child both afraid of deep water. They were able to wade into the lake and go further in as they became comfortable, and enjoy the water. At the end of the weekend they were going off the end of the dock. The owner was a delight to work with, and the boat rental company she recommended was as well. We will be back!"

  • Will not be disappointed

"This cottage is adorable. We loved the master suite and the cute bunk room for the kids. My favorite spot was the covered porch with the hammock and fans to keep you cool. The walk to the lake is level and easy. Although it's just a platform dock we brought a canopy to keep on the dock and had plenty of room for chairs and tied up a boat and jet skis. The cove is busy but we were still able to swim off the dock just fine. The owner made great use of the space and it's very cozy and clean. You may feel far from things but it wasn't a bad drive to get to the grocery store maybe 13 minutes. We loved this cottage and would stay here again. The owner is super nice and more than willing to help you find what you need."
