  • Loved it!

"We spent 4 nights at Absolute Bearadise! We loved it! The road to the cabin was a bit intimidating the first few times but we got the hang of it. This cabin is very near the top of the mountain - only 3 higher up before the road starts back down the other side of the mountain. My suggestion is just to take it slow and keep climbing! It takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes to reach the cabin once you leave the parkway. Our daughter and her fiancée joined us for a few nights. The cabin was perfect for two couples. A complete bedroom and bath on each level worked out well for us. We enjoyed the hot tub on the bug-free screened porch. We did not have a chance to use the pool table or any of the other games in the game room. There is not much of a view from this cabin. The trees have been preserved between cabins to allow for more privacy which suited us perfectly. My husband would have rather had some privacy between neighbors than a never ending view. The kitchen was amazingly furnished. We have rented places in the past that advertised "well equipped kitchens" and found out otherwise...not here! We cooked all of our meals in the cabin and never wanted for anything. They have thought of every pot, pan, utensil, etc. We also used the gas grill on the porch a few times. We had a bear visit on morning. He was interested in the garbage cans. He didn't seem too surprised when he couldn't get into the cage that houses the cans. He moved on to the neighbors trash, found the same and then lumbered up over the hill. He didn't seem to mind us, we sure enjoyed watching him from the safety of the porch! Summit was a joy to deal with. It was a breeze to use their reservation system. They also have an app. The app made it easy to keep track of our door and alarm code. I highly recommend this cabin and Summit Cabin Rentals anytime you are visiting the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area!"

  • Beautiful Place, Scary Drive

"The cabin is beautiful and has top notch appliances, bedding, and decor. You probably won't find any place that is nicer than this cabin. The jetted tub inside and hot tub outside should please just about anyone. The property managers do a really nice job. The towels are folded into swans, etc to greet you just like on a cruise ship. It is not totally secluded as there are 3 cabins within eyesight, which was fine with us. We are not into being hermits. The roads are paved but unless you frequent the mountains often, you might find it a good idea to find this cabin in the daylight. Further, if you are not a mountain person, understand this cabin is on top of the mountain. You should have good brakes and good tires and you definitely should not have a trailer attached. There are multiple ways to get to this cabin. It is much less stressful to go through Gatlinburg, go past Food City on Parkway and turn left at the light. That is a the road with many, many arts and crafts stores and few good restaurants. We considered this a "back route". Do not go toward Pigeon Forge and take the route off that main road. It will scare non mountain people half to death. Your GPS might say it is a bit shorter or something but that is meaningless because you will drive so slow on the twisted, steep roads. Even on the good road, you will need to keep your vehicle in 2nd and 3rd gear. On the front road, you will not be able to see the road in front of you at times. You will have "infinity hood". Although it's listed as Sevierville, it is not in Sevierville. The address totally confused local folks. Trust me. Take the back route. It will save you time and white knuckles, not to mention there are cool shops along the way. This cabin is a great cabin for staying in. I don't think it is one for hiking around. The brush is dense and the terrain is steep. If you want to hike, drive through Gatlinburg toward Cherokee, NC. There are beautiful trails all along the way. For whitewater rafting, we used Nantahala Outdoor Center and rafted the Pigeon Forge. You won't run out of things to do. The owner is very nice and communicates often and takes very good care of this property."

  • Cozy & Quaint, Perfect Romantic Get-Away

"This Cabin is everything it is claimed to be, and then some. We were in complete awe from the moment we arrived, and actually the pictures, although very nice, really do not do it justice. It is more spacious than the pictures show. Loved the decor and hominess of this place. This is such a clean, comfortable, and cozy mountain cabin, and it has absolutely everything you need for your stay, including coffee, spices, even shampoo, conditioner, and soap in the showers. The owners really take pride in their beautiful home, go above and beyond to make things perfect, and it really shows. The cabin is private and secluded, and yet just minutes away from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, and there are plenty of restaurants, stores and attractions for everyone. We really enjoyed having coffee on the deck in the morning and relaxing in the hot tub and sitting by the outdoor fireplace in the evening. Very peaceful and tranquil. Can't wait to return again."

  • Amazing

"This cabin is amazing! We were specifically looking for a place with a secluded feel away from it all, yet close to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge and it exceeded our expectations. I am a waterfall lover, so we came to the area to hike etc. Honestly I would have been content to stay at the cabin the entire time! I drank my coffee in the morning in a room with large windows with a view of the rocks/waterfalls. We have three boys who enjoyed exploring, splashing around, and sitting in the hot tub. Large deck around the cabin to sit, relax and enjoy. The sound of the water put me to sleep at night and melted all our cares away."
