  • Great, Loved it.

"We came in November, for the Thanksgiving week, to visit relatives that had moved to Benton earlier this year. Coming from Florida, and my wife being a native Tampa girl, had never seen the changing of the seasons. She says that no words can describe the beauty. The hangout is GREAT. Secluded enough to give a city person, the feeling of the country. The place is more than adaquately equipped with linens, towels, pots and pans and spices. We had used some of these items and just replaced what we used. We did not get use of the pool, but it is big. I figure if you want to come with a large group, the bunk house can comfortably sleep six up stairs and four down stairs. The big house will comfortably sleep five, especially if you don't need all that room. The bunk house has a ping-pong table, foose ball table, air hockey table and all sorts of board games, for kids or adults. The place is backed up to National Reserve, so the beauty around you is unbelievable. We will definitely come back in summer months and have our family come enjoy the pool and Bar-B-Ques. There is a real good section, of the house, with chain link fence for kids or dogs. The place was very clean and we had no problems with anything. Sandy was great, she provided so much information, about the house and surroundings. There are two wineries close by to visit, the mountains are all around you, so there is a lot to do, if you want to hit the trails. Would definitely suggest Rock City and Ruby Falls, if you want to make a little trip. Check them out on the internet, before you get there. There is no WiFi, and limited cell service, you are in the mountains. She does have DirecTV for the TV's. Would recommend this site to any one wanting to get away from the city."

  • Best Birthday Retreat EVER!!!

"The Ivy Cottage was the cutest little cabin with every amenity I could have hoped or dreamed for. I'm not a big fan of restaurants or eating out due to having an auto immune disorder that makes my diet restricted. This tiny kitchen still had ample storage and all kitchen equipment needed for me to make 3 wholesome meals a day on our 4 day stay(ribeyes, scallops, collard greens, hamburgers, pork chops, succotash). We did the Adventures unlimited white water rafting excursion with Tripp as our guide and will probably be back again, he was the best and it was an absolute blast only 10 minutes away. We also brought our own tubes and were able to have a relaxing afternoon of floating off the doc and lots of trail walking with Corkie and Lukie(dogs) the cutest little cottage welcoming crew. Kevin and Jenny were also able to recommend a great Spa(Bliss) for a couples massage on our last day, and they were spot on with service. We definitely enjoyed every part of our trip, and used every amenity provided even playing a little game of Horse at the basketball hoop and 1 round of horseshoes at dusk. TV and internet weren't needed for this stay, nothing but relaxing and enjoying your company. We'll definitely be back in the future, and may even send our parents for their anniversary."

  • A perfect place to enjoy

"We stayed at the Five Points B & B from Oct. 4-8, 2016. The place was immaculate and very well furnished and very private. The bed was so very comfortable. We loved the atmosphere and really enjoyed the cafe downstairs--friendly service and excellent food. We normally stay in hotels so this place was like paradise to us. We even liked hearing the train go by. We would love to stay there again and would certainly recommend it to our family and friends."
