  • Super comfortable and roomy with excellent property management

"Our family of 6 stayed at Magic Carpet from March 19-24, 2016, Spring Break. The unit had all the comforts of home - fully stocked kitchen, linens for all pullouts. And Lisa, the property manager, was very attentive and helpful when we were snowed in and needed the driveway plowed. We were very comfortable staying home and cooking most nights. The property was very clean and very well maintained. We did have to alternate hot showers, as the first night, after one hot shower, the remaining 5 of us took very quick lukewarm to cold showers. But, once we got a routine going with a shower every hour and half to give the hot water time to replenish, it worked out fine. The only drawback to this unit is that there are 34 stairs to climb (yes, we counted!) from the garage to the front door, with no elevator. So, luggage and groceries were not easy. We were also not used to the altitude, so we had difficulty breathing after just 4 steps - imagine 34, plus another flight to the 2nd floor master bedroom. And, after a full day of skiing, it took all we had to make it to the top landing. I would also invest in a humidifier, as the cold winter Utah air is very dry. I would have bought one in town and left it for the owners and future renters, if either of the two General Stores would have carried them. I guess this is only an issue for folks from humid climates, like us. But, overall, I gave this property and its management team 5 stars. We loved the unit and the view was amazing. Especially during the snowfall. Absolutely breathtaking. I would certainly recommend this property to anyone interested in staying in the area. Thank you to Matthew & Lisa for your quick responses and assistance! The Losada Family"

  • Unbelievable summer weekend getaway

"My family and I would like to start by saying thank you to Cami and Doug for extending their beautiful home to our family. It is truly a gorgeous place and is something to be very proud of. There is absolutely nothing better than leaving your home and all of its comforts and amentities to get away and to arrive at a place that makes you feel like it is home away from home. Everything about the home is beautiful, convenient and relaxing. Our first morning, we awoke to a herd of hundreds of sheep walking the green hillside of Navajo Mountain. Below the hill was a beautiful view of the pond and a wonderful panoramic view of the town. So let's just say that its that wonderful breath of fresh air that you can only hope to wake up to every morning. Once we soaked in the sights, it was off to the mountains in the side by sides to enjoy a nice long day cruising the trails. For the outdoor enthusiast, these were hands down some of the most amazing trails and places that I have ever been in a utv. From the hills above Brianhead, to the trails around Yankee Meadows and the climb over the pass to Panguitch Lake, the experience made an 8 hour ride feel like we truly got to embrace all of the beauty and thrills that the land had to offer. After a long day of riding, we returned to the condo, enjoyed dinner in the beautiful kitchen and then relaxed in comfort in the awesome hot tub on the balcony. The following morning began with a 5 minute walk down to the pond with our fishing poles where we sat and enjoyed the relaxation and anticipation of the catch. As much as we enjoyed this amazing condo and the slopes during this past February, was equally as much as we enjoyed the trip this summer. This was our first visit to Brianhead during the summer and all I can think about is returning next summer to enjoy all the amazing things that this town and beautiful home have to offer. Thank you again Cami and Doug for everything, especially giving me the opportunity to create these wonderful memories with my family."

  • Perfect Ski Rental - Location and Accommodations!!

"I recently took my two teenage boys here for a mid-week ski trip. The condo is located adjacent to the Giant Steps chairlifts at the Brian Head ski resort (the building is actually situated right next to the tubing area). The boys were able to ski up to the condo building, leave their boards in the entry area and then head to the condo for food and drink breaks and the end of the day. The custom boot and apparel holder was AMAZING. Not only did it reduce clutter, but it provided a quick and convenient way to have dry boots and apparel for the next time out on the slopes. The condo has all the basics plus comfortable seating, dining, cooking and sleeping (my one son was very impressed with the heaters located in the bathrooms). There's even a wine cooler! Firewood is provided and easily accessed in the garage. There's also a hot tub and sauna in the condo building. The Starks were both responsive and extremely accommodating. The boys and I are already talking about bringing dad back with us for a ski trip to Brian Head next year."
