  • Large home, wonderful experience

"Thank you for a superb getaway. The home's concierge stopped by to plow the driveway following a solid storm and the owners were very communicative and helpful. 3 story home, with (winter) heat in all levels and an enclosed hot tub on the lowest floor (basement). Large, comfortable rooms and beds and nice updating throughout. Lockbox key made arrival handy. Nice view off deck, plenty of living space (and privacy) for larger groups, convenient (close) location to Navajo lifts and Apple Annie's market. Would use again, no complaints."

  • spacious, modern and convenient

"this was our first time staying at this unit, and i chose it for our group of ten because it advertised wifi, flatscreen tvs, and proximity to the giant steps chair lift. the home and the owner delivered on everything that was promised! the wifi signal was strong enough so that i could get work done (i am a real estate agent in las vegas) and we used it to play jackbox games with all of our smartphones. we just brought our own hdmi cables to hook up all of our electronics to the large tvs so we could not only play those games, but also watch netflix from our ipads/laptops and playback our skiing/snowboarding videos that we took with headcams. the beds were comfortable, plenty of extra pillows and blankets were provided, and the owner was accessible by phone the entire stay. we were located directly across the street from the brian head ski resort parking lot. we will definitely book this again next year!"

  • loved it

"This is our second stay at the Giant Steps Sk In/Out condo! The condo has great access to the slope, underground parking is very nice, and the complex has free firewood. The unit itself is very well furnished with everything you need. The beds are comfortable, each room has its own tv, and the living room was warm & inviting. The small outdoor balcony patio has a view to the side of the slopes/chair lift. Definitely would recommend!"

  • Super comfortable and roomy with excellent property management

"Our family of 6 stayed at Magic Carpet from March 19-24, 2016, Spring Break. The unit had all the comforts of home - fully stocked kitchen, linens for all pullouts. And Lisa, the property manager, was very attentive and helpful when we were snowed in and needed the driveway plowed. We were very comfortable staying home and cooking most nights. The property was very clean and very well maintained. We did have to alternate hot showers, as the first night, after one hot shower, the remaining 5 of us took very quick lukewarm to cold showers. But, once we got a routine going with a shower every hour and half to give the hot water time to replenish, it worked out fine. The only drawback to this unit is that there are 34 stairs to climb (yes, we counted!) from the garage to the front door, with no elevator. So, luggage and groceries were not easy. We were also not used to the altitude, so we had difficulty breathing after just 4 steps - imagine 34, plus another flight to the 2nd floor master bedroom. And, after a full day of skiing, it took all we had to make it to the top landing. I would also invest in a humidifier, as the cold winter Utah air is very dry. I would have bought one in town and left it for the owners and future renters, if either of the two General Stores would have carried them. I guess this is only an issue for folks from humid climates, like us. But, overall, I gave this property and its management team 5 stars. We loved the unit and the view was amazing. Especially during the snowfall. Absolutely breathtaking. I would certainly recommend this property to anyone interested in staying in the area. Thank you to Matthew & Lisa for your quick responses and assistance! The Losada Family"
