  • Funky, charming and pleasant!

"We rented the house for a long weekend to mountain bike in the central VT area. The house was great for our group. The owners are very responsive and accommodating. The house is unique - the layout is very open, with two living room areas on either side of the fireplace. It would have been nice to make more use of the deck, but we were gone most of the day."

  • Cozy Ski House

"We stayed here for 3 nights with our grown children and spouses. There were 7 of us and there was more than enough room for all of us and more! We used the fireplace every night after skiing and the family loved playing pool, darts and the games that were there. I was really happy that the kitchen was so fully equipped with all the pans and utensils to cook a full meal which we did each night. The house was quietly tucked away in a private setting but only minutes away from Killington resort and was extremely convenient. Andy answered all of my questions and check in and close out were both seamless. Thanks Andy for helping in the making of a memory for our family. We had a wonderful stay there and would love to come back again sometime."

  • Huge Condo!!!

"I gave this condo a 4 star due to its size and proximity to the mountain, and the owner is very pleasant to work with. I am sure he will have the condo in 5 star condition in no time, as this was a new purchase for him. It is as the pictures show. It is furnished with some very nice pieces. The beds are very comfortable. Huge closets as well. The brand new fireplace in the living room was not working, which was a huge disappointment as a fireplace was a requirement of our selection. I am sure it will be up and running soon, if not already. The TV had a great picture. Lots of space to spread out. The Blue bedroom sits in the center along the hallway and has an entire wall of accordion folding doors for entry. So not much privacy in that room. The condo is also heated with a heater in the Master bedroom and the Living Room, requiring doors to be kept open to heat all of the rooms (we were comfortable with doors shut at night). With that said, the condo was VERY warm despite the single digit temps outside. There is quite a mix of old and new stuff. Carpet in the kitchen? The kitchen cabinets were old and with some broken doors. But there is LOTS of cabinet space. Although on the bottom floor, there are many windows with plentiful outside light coming in and with some decent views. We could hear a child running around in the condo above us, otherwise we felt quite insulated from neighbors and the outside sounds of the main road the condo sits along. The shuttle picks up at the foot of the driveway every 20 minutes. This is very convenient as it is not good walking terrain this time of year. No sidewalks and it sits on a hill. As for the "Village", Sugarbush is still very remote with very little activity. Not much to walk to. I am assuming this is why there were NO LINES to speak of, which was awesome! Overall it was a great condo and with a few more upgrades it will be perfect. We enjoyed our time there and were very comfortable."

  • Beautiful fall colors

"The house is situated looking over a lake, in a great location for hiking and visiting nearby Woodstock. It was comfortable and furnished with everything we needed. In the morning we would walk to the Barnard General store, pick up warm scones, the WSJ and NY Times, delightful. The only issue we had was low water pressure in the upstairs shower (but the owner assured us that the plumbing was to be redone in 2017)."
